Chapter 15: Bomb

(Y/N) Your Name

(Quick thing, I just found out that I have been spelling Malcolm's name wrong. instead of writing 'Malcolm' I was writing 'Malcom'. I will try and eventually fix the earlier mistakes.)

It was the next day. The humans and apes were near the metal building next to the waterfall. They stood at the bottom, where the water was calm. Rocket, Maurice, Caesar and Blue Eyes (with the baby in his arms) all sat on black horses, in that order. (Y/N) flew with them and landed in front of them. Caesar looked around, trying to find something. 

"Koba? Where?" He asked out loud. 

"Still angry." (Y/N) signed. Maurice nodded in agreement. 

"Said he was going hunting." He added in. (Y/N) looked around and saw the humans walk into the drains underground. 

"I'll go with them and watch. And make sure they don't try anything." (Y/N) signed to Caesar and the apes. Caesar nodded as she flew into the air and followed behind the humans. 

(Y/N) landed just outside the entrance where the humans had gone in. She got in and found a ladder that went down deeper. She landed and caused two other humans quickly face her breathing heavily. It was that younger boy, who she found was named Alex. And the woman, who was named Ellie. 

"Please..pretend I'm not here." She said to them as she leaned against a wall. They just looked down and away. Alex broke the silence. 

"I didn't know you had a daughter." He said to Ellie. 

She faced him, "Yeah." 

"What was her name?" He asked. Ellie looked down a bit then back up. 

"Sarah." 

Alex sat quiet for a second for saying, "I'm really sorry." Ellie gave a small smile as a tear fell down her cheek. 

"Well, now I have you and your dad, so..." Alex nodded as he started tearing up too. 

"Yeah.." Then he looked up to (Y/N). "What about you?" He asked. 

(Y/N) scoffed, "You don't wanna know.." 

"We gotta pass the time somehow." Ellie added. (Y/N) sighed. 

"Long story short, I was born in a lab. Lived with Caesar until I was 6, got kidnapped and I was tortured for 12 years. Only escaped a few days ago." She stated. 

"What about the- the um...?" Alex tried to ask as he pointed to (Y/N)'s wings. 

"Oh..my mum was experimented on with animal DNA while she was pregnant with me. Then I..." She went silent as her ears slightly twitched. Alex and Ellie looked around confused while (Y/N) just stared ahead. 

"What is it?" Ellie asked. (Y/N)'s eyes glowed red. 

"Bomb." 

That's when it went off. An explosion underground created by the human men. Alex and Ellie wasted no time as they climbed down the ladder to where the men had entered. "Malcolm! Malcolm!" Ellie yelled. 

"Dad?!" Alex yelled too. Back up above the ladder, around 5 apes came and stood next to (Y/N). 

"Humans are trapped. They need help." She signed to Rocket. Rocket nodded and jumped down with (Y/N) and the other apes. The removed the giant rocks and found the men inside. 

Once they helped the humans out, Ellie and Alex tended to Carver's wounds, who previously had a giant boulder land on his right leg. During this time, Malcolm walked over to Caesar, Blue Eyes and Rocket, who were on their horses, and (Y/N) who stood next to them, out of the water. 

"Thank you, you saved our lives." He said while looking at (Y/N) and Rocket. 

"No problem." She assured. 

"We've got a lot of debris to clear now. We might need a bit more time." Malcolm admitted. 

"How... long?" Caesar asked him. Blue Eyes sat on his horse next to his father, day-dreaming, not noticing the baby ape jump and slide off the horse. Blue Eyes saw and jumped down after him. Malcolm and Caesar watched as Blue Eyes walked after his brother. The baby ran over to Ellie and Alex, who were helping Carver with his leg. 

Ellie took her attention off Carver and turned around to see the baby ape climbing over her shoulder. Caesar jumped off his horse, Blue Eyes stared at Ellie and (Y/N) raised her wings slightly. All of the three worried for the baby. The baby slid down Alex's leg and played with his shoe. 

"What are you doing? Are you finished?" Carver interrupted. 

"I want to punch that guys' nose in." (Y/N) signed to Rocket, her eyes flickering red. Rocket laughed and nodded. 

"What are you looking at?" Carver asked/threatened Alex, to which Alex only gave a slight laugh. The baby made his way over to a box. He removed a cloth which showed a gun. "Hey. Hey!" Carver yelled as he instantly shot up and started trying to whack the baby out of the box. "Hey, get out of there!" 

Blue Eyes shrieked as he ran over to him and pushed him to the ground. Two other men ran over to try and help Carver. Blue Eyes pushed another out of the way but the last man almost got ahold of Blue Eyes' shoulders before (Y/N) swooped in and picked him up with her incredible strength and dropped him into the water. 

"HEY! I'll kill you both!" Carver screamed as he aimed his gun at Blue Eyes and (Y/N). (Y/N) tried to fly down towards them but suddenly Carver let off a shot. (Y/N) yelped as the bullet only grazed her wing, but still caused a little blood to drip down, through her feathers. 

Blue Eyes hissed while (Y/N) slowly lowered herself to the ground with a face of fury. He was about to shoot again before Caesar came and smacked him to the ground. Caesar was about to pummel Carver's head with the gun before, "Don't! Don't, Caesar no!" Malcolm tried. "No.." 

Caesar stopped and looked at the gun while trying to hold his anger. Everyone observed him, wondering what he would do next. Caesar glared at Malcolm while he ran over to (Y/N) and helped her up. He looked at the mark on (Y/N)'s wing, then at her. She gave him a slight nod saying that she was okay. 

"Said...no...guns." He said as he walked around and pointed the gun at everyone except his apes and his sister. He looked at it one last time then threw it far away, in the river. He glared at Malcolm once more. 

"I didn't know." Malcolm said. Caesar walked closer to him while picking his baby son up.  

"Human...leave..NOW!" Blue Eyes looked at (Y/N) and walked with her, making sure she was able to walk on her own, but it was mainly just shock. They walked past the humans and (Y/N) snarled back at them. She glared with her red eyes and black wings making her look like she could kill anyone one of them. 

Which she could.
