Chapter 2: Gone

It was the next day and Bright Eyes was not in the mood for science experiments. But...Karma's a bitch. "Donnie? Get her ready." Franklin asked another scientist to get Bright Eyes ready for the presentation. 

"She's got stage fright." Donnie mocked as he unlocked the cage. Bright Eyes hissed inside her cage trying to keep him at bay. 

"Is that what it is?" Franklin mumbled. Donnie just continued to open the cage but as soon as he tried to open the door, Bright Eyes lunged at it. Donnie being stupid, opened the window to the cage. Bright Eyes immediately pulled his arm through the window. 

"She's gonna break my hand!" He yelled as he tried to get her off. Franklin jumped up and tried to help Donnie. 

"Bright Eyes, Bright Eyes let go!" He yelled. Bright Eyes then let go and ducked back down underneath the table. She looked at you and your 'brother' to make sure both of you were safe. Once she realised that you were, she looked back up at the door and hissed at the idiotic scientist. "You alright?" She heard Franklin ask Donnie. She then heard a faint 'yes'.

After a few minutes of calming down, she heard someone place something down in front of the door. "There you go Bright Eyes. It's your favourite fizzy soda, come on." Franklin said as he tried to lure her over to the door. 

"Let's go, we should have her downstairs by now." 

"That's right girl, there you go. That's for you." Bright Eyes was just about to reach for it. "That's for yo-" Franklin suddenly pulled the door open as Donnie tried to put a circled rope connected to a stick around her neck. Bright Eyes grabbed the stick and dropped it to the ground. She jumped back over to the door of her cage, desperately trying to get back to you and your brother. It didn't budge so she jumped down and started running away from the men, around the lab. 

"Sedate her!" Donnie yelled. But it was too late. Bright Eyes was now running around, going crazy. Franklin ran over to a big red button and smashed it. That sent off an alarm that went off through the whole lab. 

As Bright Eyes ran, she knocked over carts, tables, chairs and people. She then smashed through a window, onto a table. She looked around and found she was on a large, circular table, surrounded by people. She tried to find a way to get back to you and your brother, but couldn't. Bright Eyes heard a voice yelling 'NO' very loudly. And that was the last thing she heard until everything went black... and she was gone.
