They all walked over to where the soldiers were last. They had to know what they were shooting at. Once they got there, they found three bodies buried in the snow. Each of them had been shot in the chest. Caesar took the mask off one of them and he was definitely dead. Rocket did the same to another but he was...not so dead. He breathed in deeply and yelped in pain as he tried to get away from the apes but also tried to hold his chest. Caesar kneeled down to the man and held the back of his head. He continued to gasp for air.

"Why did they shoot you?" Caesar asked in a whisper. The man looked at Caesar and mumbled as he tried to speak. Caesar looked back to Maurice and the little girl.

"Like her!" Maurice exclaimed. "He cannot speak." He then looked down to the soldier. "He will die of those wounds." Caesar also looked back to the soldier. He gently put his head back down.

"Luca." He called the gorilla over. Luca nodded and told Maurice to take the girl away. Once the girl wasn't in sight, Caesar raised his gun to the man's head and the man nodded. He knew what Caesar was going to do, and he was grateful.

They walked away from the dead soldiers and found a cellphone tower, obviously not in working condition. It was tall and red. The four apes climbed up mid-way while (Y/N) hovered in the air above them.

"Where did the soldiers go?!" Maurice asked confused.

"Winter said they were going to a border." Caesar explained.

"Yes, but which way is that?!" Luca asked, also confused. They continued to look around for the soldiers while the little girl sat on one of the horses below them, playing with her doll. (Y/N) looked in the air until she spotted someone who wore a big winter jacket and boots, taking things out of a bag on Luca's horse.

"HEY!" She yelled from her high position. Luca looked to where she was looking and roared at the mysterious person. The person got onto Luca's horse and started to run away. The apes got down and onto their horses, Luca jumped on Rocket's horse, and followed them.

"(Y/N)! Follow them!" Caesar yelled. (Y/N) nodded and flew above the thief. She was just about to reach him before he turned around and tried to shoot her. She dodged the bullets by making swift moves in air. As they ran through the wintery forest, the person continued to try and shoot the apes but missed. They ran passed an old broken ski lift.

They ran until they saw Luca's horse run away from a giant house, neighing nervously and trotting around in a panic. (Y/N) landed in front of the horse.

"Hey! Hey, easy boy. It's okay, shh." She said calmly as she held her hands up and slowly walked towards the horse. She held her hand out to let the horse sniff her and he was easily calmed down. (Y/N) pet his head then let him be with the other horses.

Caesar went through the open window first. Followed by Rocket and Luca. (Y/N) walked behind them with Maurice and the little girl, but at a distance. They walked down a long set of stairs with their guns held high. Caesar found footsteps leading to a fireplace. He shifted his head to the others to tell them to follow. (Y/N), Maurice and the girl stayed by the stairs. (Y/N) noticed the girl shivering. She rolled her eyes but couldn't help but feel the need to help her, so (Y/N) covered the girl in her wings to keep her warm. The girl looked shocked but that didn't stop her from snuggling into the gorgeous woman's wings.

Caesar, Rocket and Luca stood at the entrance of the fireplace and held up they guns. Caesar cocked his gun and the others did the same and snarled. The person threw the gun out of the fireplace to their feet. Same with the binoculars. They slowly walked out with their hands in a surrender motion. They showed their face and the three apes were stunned. It was an another ape.

I just want to say that I have no experience with horses, I don't know how to calm one down and I'm definitely not capable to give advice on them. This is only part of the story. I've seen people do it in movies but I have no idea how accurate it is.
