A/N

(Y/N) Your Name

"Signing"

"Talking"

About Three Hours Later

(Y/N) had been flying for about three hours now. Her food had run out, her water was gone and she was exhausted. She saw the city in the distance. Her face made a smile of relief. "Just a little longer..." she said trying to encourage herself. She flapped her wings and saw a forest.

(Y/N) tried to make a smooth landing but... that didn't happen. She started to fall from dehydration and exhaustion. She covered herself with her wings as she fell through the forest at high speed, hitting a few trees in the process. She hit the ground with a loud thud.

(Y/N) looked around while releasing a painful grunt. She looked at her surroundings, trees. Not just any trees, extremely tall ones. Familiar ones. Her mind started to fill with memories from when she and Caesar would play somewhere like this. That made her think. Where was he now? She didn't know. (Y/N) tried to sit up against a tree. It was hard, and painful, but she did it. Probably a few bruised ribs, a few cuts and scratches on the wings. Nothing too bad, she thought.

(Y/N) knew that she wouldn't be able to survive here for too long without real food or water. And she was hungry. That's when she heard it, the running of deers (I think the animal that the apes hunted were deers but I'm not entirely sure). (Y/N) had to get out of there. She was strong, she's seen people hunt, she's seen how to kill. But she wasn't in the shape to do so.

She saw the direction the deers were coming from, so she sat on the other side of the tree, facing away. In a few seconds, she saw the deers run past her and not long after, she saw many many apes follow. (Y/N) was shocked. How? All of them working together, hunting and with war paint on. This was amazing but also kind of scary.

(Y/N) watched as the apes killed the deers with incredible skill. Once she thought all the apes and deers were gone, she tried to stand up and find somewhere to stay. She couldn't fly, so she had to walk. (Y/N) went in the direction the animals came from, but froze when she saw another ape coming her way. The ape caught sight of her. He widened his eyes at the look of her. A human with wings? Then the ape sent out a call of some sort. More like a warning.

"Hey! Hey! I'm a friend!" (Y/N) tried. But the ape wouldn't stop. In less than a minute, more apes came over, surrounding her. She looked around and saw different apes of different sizes and species. "Wait! Wait! I'm a friend! See? Friend." She said/signed. The apes looked around, wondering whether to trust her or not. They started to close in on her then a beaming voice came out of nowhere.

"NO!" (Y/N) and the apes all froze. The ones in front of her created a path. A chimpanzee came walking down, he had different war paint from the others. Two other chimpanzee's, a bonobo, an orangutan and a gorilla came walking behind him. The main ape gasped when he looked at her.

"(Y-Y/N)?" He asked quietly. He slowly walked up to her. He looked at her right in the eye. Her glowing red eyes. He gasped again. "Your eyes..." He smiled. (Y/N)'s eyes started to go back to brown.

"Your birthmark..." The ape looked at his birthmark then nodded.

"I missed you so much." Caesar signed then they hugged and never wanted to let go. (Y/N)'s tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"I missed you too Caecae..." She whispered so only he could hear her. Caesar released the hug.

"Where have you been?" He signed again.

"Locked up. 12 years." (Y/N) signed back.

"Who took you?

"A bad man. He stalked me ever since I was 4." Caesar was shocked and angry.

"Where is he now?

"Dead I think." (Y/N) smirked.

"You killed him?" Caesar asked. (Y/N) shook her head.

"He left but didn't come back so I think either the disease or someone else got to him before I could." Caesar nodded in understanding. He then noticed the blood dripping from her wings. "Come! You're hurt." Caesar signed as he grabbed her wrist and began to lead up the hill, the rest of the apes followed behind.

Soon enough, they reached the apes fortress. And (Y/N) was amazed. They walked through the front path and soon made it to the main area of the ape's home. There were hundreds of apes of different species. All working and doing their part. They turned to the right to view a magnificent tree. With thick branches sticking out on the side to form stairs. Only Caesar, (Y/N), a few others went up. They reached the top and found a female ape sleeping. Caesar went over to her and gently woke her up. Caesar and the female touched foreheads.

"This is (Y/N)." The ape turned around and faced (Y/N). She stretched her arm out to her with a smile.

"I'm Cornelia, Caesar's wife. Caesar's told me much about you." (Y/N) smiled back. Cornelia then turned to Caesar.

"Get the nurses to tend to her wounds." She signed. Caesar nodded and gave a hoot. "Maurice! Get the nurses." Caesar signed to an orangutan near the entrance. Maurice nodded and went down the stairs, as did the other apes. Leaving Caesar, Cornelia and (Y/N) alone.

"Giving orders I see." (Y/N) signed with a smirk. Caesar chuckled and nodded. "Last time I saw you, you were annoying me to death." They all laughed for a bit then stopped. "I've missed you Caesar." She said seriously. Caesar smiled then his expression turned to sad.

"I'm...sorry...(Y/N)." Caesar spoke. Spoke? How could he speak? That question rung through (Y/N)'s mind, she might ask later.

 "Why?" She asked in disbelief.

"I should've been able to stop him...I should've done something!" Caesar signed angrily.

"Hey, no. It was not your fault. You got shot with a tranquiliser dart! Not to mention you were only 6 years old!" (Y/N) tried to explain. Though, Caesar still felt guilty. All these years, he's been blaming himself for what happened back in 2014. He was snapped out of his trance by the nurse apes walking up.

"Let's get those wounds healed up, then I'll introduce you to everyone."
