All the apes packed their supplies as they were getting ready to leave. There were no laughs, no smiles, just focus. 

"I'm gonna miss you so much, (B/N)." (Y/N) said as she held her hawk on her arm. 

"But I can come with you." (B/N) protested. (Y/N) shook her head. 

"No. You gotta live your life. Be free, meet other birds...start a family. Please, I don't want to see you get hurt." (B/N) looked down then rubbed his head against (Y/N)'s cheek. She let a single tear fall. (B/N) flew into the air and looked back to (Y/N), she waved and he let out a call back to her then flew away. 

(Y/N) turned around to the sound of footsteps and saw Caesar and Cornelius walking towards them. (Y/N) stood in between Maurice and Rocket, who were on horses and Lake and Luca who were standing beside the horses. Caesar walked up to Lake. 

"Lake... You loved my son. Look after his brother until I return." Lake looked at him confused. 

"You're not coming with us to our new home?" She asked. 

"No." Caesar replied before kneeling down to his son and saying, "Go with Lake." He handed his son's hand over to the female. Rocket looked over to (Y/N) as (Y/N) continued to watch Caesar in shock. 

"Caesar!" Maurice signed as Caesar began to stand. "You're not going after them?!" He asked him like Caesar was crazy. 

"Not them. Him." He replied. 

"Caesar, you are our leader!" Maurice argued. "We can't leave without you!" 

"You must. The soldiers will be back soon." Cornelius tried to get to his father. 

"Father!" He called as he struggled in Lake's arms. 

"When I find him... the soldiers will all come after me. That may give you the best chance... to get out of the woods." He finished before walking away with his rifle towards his horse. All the apes frantically hooted and yelled as Caesar got onto his horse. 

"Where is he going?!" Spear asked. 

"Caesar! Caesar!" Maurice called. (Y/N) joined in. 

"Caesar! Don't go!" She yelled. But not long after Caesar was gone. And the apes began their journey to their new home. 

While Caesar trotted through the forest, he heard horses neighing in the distance behind him. He knew exactly who it was. He turned his horse around and watched Rocket, Maurice and Luca trot up to him on their horses. "You can't come with me." He stated. 

"Not just us." Rocket signed as he smirked. Caesar looked at him confused before looking up to the sky as he heard the sound of flapping wings. As (Y/N) landed, Caesar slowly shook his head at her. 

"I'm not losing you again. Besides, the soldiers' camp is always moving." She said. 

"Our guards think they know where it is, let us take you." Luca signed. 

"You need me to back you up!" Rocket added. 

"No." Caesar said blankly. 

"Please... I know what it's like to lose a son." Rocket signed sadly. 

"I may not make it back." Caesar said, still not wanting them to come. 

"That's why I'm coming." Maurice signed. "To make sure you do." Caesar looked to each of his apes and then to his sister. 

"I'm your sister, it's my job to annoy you. And to protect you, and stick by your side until the very end." (Y/N) signed. And eventually, Caesar gave in.
