ROSE

"Rosie!" I hear San yell down the hallway the moment I step foot outside my door. "Hey, are you hungry?"

"Not really," I shrug.

"Oh," he giggles, "me neither. Where are you off to?"

"I'm going to Jennie's before the party tonight. Do you want to come? Anna is meeting me there too." I offer, and his smile grows.

"Yeah, totally." He nods.

As soon as we get to the elevator, I see Hongjoong waiting there as well, and I force myself to suppress a giddy sound. "Hey oppa, where are you off to?"

"I tutor for music theory a couple times a week," he answers. Hongjoong smiles at me, and I momentarily forget how to breathe. "Are you alright, Rose? You look flushed."

"Yeah!" I smile somewhat-awkwardly and try to laugh it off.

"How did auditions for your musical go?" He asks.

"We got the leads," San answers for me with a slight smile on his face.

"Congratulations, you two." Hongjoong says just as the elevator arrives.

"Thanks," I blush under his gaze, but of course, San interrupts us again before I can actually talk to Hongjoong.

"Hyung, are you tutoring for uncle Mark?" San asks, and Hongjoong nods.

"Yeah, he's in the recording studio for the next few days, so I offered to help with some of his tutoring sessions." He smiles at us both as the elevator reaches the ground floor. "Well, I guess I'm seeing you both at the party tonight, but try not to get too crazy for my sake."

He punctuates his statement with a wink, and I almost die upon impact. San softly snorts in amusement at my reaction, and so I elbow him once Hongjoong is out of sight.

"You're pitiful," San giggles, and I brush him off with a flip of my hair.

"I am not," I huff, and San giggles even more.

"It's okay," he pulls me into a backhug as we get to the curb, "you're adorable when you're flustered."

"Stop it!" I squeal, which earns us both an eyebrow raise from a couple of girls walking by.

"You know," San clears his throat, "the quickest way to get a guy's attention is to make him jealous."

ANNA

"You're all done," Jennie tells me as she closes the cap onto her lipstick tube, which she just finished my makeup with.

I've only really worn a lot of makeup on stage, so when I showed up to Jennie's apartment with a black eyeshadow and red lipstick in my makeup bag, she and Rose took matters into their own hands. Now with my grey smokey liner and nude lipstick, I feel much more mature. Definitely much more ready for my first college party.

"We need a few drinks before we go," Jennie commands, dragging me and Rose into the kitchen where San and her boyfriend Kai are talking with a couple of Kai's friends. "Baby, make us drinks."

"So bossy!" Kai smiles at her and mixes bright red juice and some vodka into three cups for us. "Here you are, Princess."

"Don't call me that," Jennie warns him, and he chuckles as he wraps an arm around her.

"Please don't be too... yourself tonight," Kai's friend Suho pleads, and Jennie swats her hand at him.

"I'm not that bad!" She pouts. "I'm better than Baekhyun over there."
