MINGI

Two weeks

Two weeks of radio silence. Two weeks of Anna never being at her dorm or coming to class.

I know that she knows about the game and about what happened with Yeji. I don't know what Mr. Min has told her about my high school days, but I know that she knows enough to not answer any of my texts or calls or me pounding my fist on her damn door trying to figure out if she's okay.

I just want to know if she's okay. I need to know if she's okay.

"Still nothing?" Yunho comes up to me with sympathetic frown on his face, and I shake my head. "Just give her a little space. She came by my room with San yesterday and she seemed alright."

"I just need to see her," I tell him. "I need to talk to her."

"I don't think you understand the concept of space," he chuckles.

"Still no progress, huh?" Mr. Jung makes himself known as the door swings open.

"Dad," Yunho huffs, "a little privacy so much to ask for?"

"This is my house," he reminds us. "Now I shouldn't be telling you boys this, but Anna will be returning to class next week. She's recovered from the concussion and and she'll be back at school on Monday."

"How do you know?" I ask.

"She's my best friend's daughter," he says with a smile. "I've been checking in on them."

"She's staying with him?" I guess that explains why she was never at her dorm.

"She needed someone to take her to her follow-up appointments, and Yoongi was very eager to take care of her." Mr. Jung tells me. "I haven't seen him this happy since we were in our twenties. She's the best thing that's ever happened to him."

I know the feeling

ELLAJIN

"So how's it going with your mystery boy?" my sister teases. "Am I ever going to get to meet him?"

"I told you, that's over," I say dismissively, but it's not enough to get June off my case.

"Then explain this." She pushes my hair over my shoulder to reveal a fresh hickey that I forgot I had on my collarbone, and I scramble to push my hair back over it.

"I, uh, this isn't the same guy," I stutter out.

A Cheshire grin spreads across her face. "Unnie is a player!"

"Unnie is gonna smack you if you don't shut up," I threaten. "My students are all over the place. I don't need them to know that I'm a disaster."

"You just a teaching assistant, calm down," she giggles. "Besides, half of the cousins are your students. It's not like they don't know you."

I wince at the reminder of 'the cousins', including a certain blonde that I have come to see has anything but a younger sibling.

"Jackpot," June says, breaking me out of my Wooyoung dream cloud. I follow her line of sight to a group of guys playing soccer on the far end of the quad from us.
