olivia's point of view

I woke up, and it was still dark outside, or the . I tried to move from my current position, having obviously forgot about my left leg as I got a shooting pain up my leg. I was also restricted from moving as Roger had his arms wrapped comfortably around my shoulders. I smiled at the thought.

I craned my neck over his thin torso to see the time - 3:41am. Well shit. I laid back down as pain continued to shoot up my leg at a rapid pace. I had to get up and get my pain killers, seeing as the ones from 8:30pm last night had obviously warn off.

But in my current state, there was no moving unless I got Roger off me. I didn't want to be released from his grasp, but I had too. I couldn't bare with this pain much longer.

I figured that I would still need assistance manoeuvring the crutches, so I was going to have to wake Roger up - and I felt terrible for doing so. He looked so relaxed, and I didn't want to get off the comfortable boy either, but I started to shake him awake anyway.

I shook him the first time and he didn't even flinch. The second time was a little more of a violent shake than what I anticipated.

"Hm?" He asked as he woke up, concluding with a yawn as he tightened his grip around my shoulders, obviously forgetting about my bruises.

"Ow." I shrieked, but at the sound of a whisper.

"Oh shit, sorry love! Did you need me for something?" He asked, concern evident in his raspy voice.

"My leg is in terrible pain and I think I need to walk and get some pain killers but I'm hopeless and can't move by myself with these crutches yet. Sorry, love."

"No, no, don't be sorry love. Here, let me get up and help you out." He replied.

"What time is it?" He asked as he yawned yet again, while holding my hands and helping my legs over the side of the bed.

"Almost 3:50 in the morning" I say as he groans in reply.

"At least I don't have to go into the studio until next week, gives me time to catch up on my sleep." He says, with a slight laugh.

"Rog I don't want to get up, it hurts too much!" I say, tears welling in my eyes as the pain increased every few seconds.

"It's alright, why don't I just go get your medication?" He asks.

"No, no love. I have to get up and walk cause I figured that makes the pain subside a bit.

"Hmm, okay love."

"Fuck." I let out in a breath as I stood up and Roger put the crutches under my arms. I felt the tears roll down my cheek, so I put my head down, hanging it in shame, thinking that I really need to pull myself together.

But Roger knew that look all too well.

"Hey darlin', don't cry, it's alright!" He said, using his fingers to lift my chin up so I could look at him directly. I sniffled, trying to hold back the tears, but they just spilled over my eyes as I let out some quiet sobs. It hurt way too much for my liking.

"Let's just walk now, then we can get your medication and you can get back into bed okay? I'll go sleep on the lounge so you can have a better sleep, hm?"
