roger's point of view

The last hour and a half had been traumatising to say the least. Seeing what that bastard of a boyfriend did to her was incredibly scary and saddening for me. This girl meant so much to me, little she knew.

I had now confirmed it with myself that I had feelings for her, so when John told me she's be happy to have a housemate, I was beyond thrilled. I hadn't seen her in a little over 7 months so it was so good to see her again. I had pushed my feelings away from my mind to focus on the move from Smile to Queen and to focus on writing songs.

Once I saw her again, I just couldn't help myself. Her beauty, her personality, her infectious laugh and her loving smile, her cute little freckles all over her, her curly red hair and the fact that she doesn't eat anything I'll cook makes me love her even more than I already do. She just makes me happy and now to be living with her until things kick off, if they do that is, with our music, I couldn't have been happier until everything that unfolded tonight.

I was angry, upset, frustrated and all the more trying to be strong for this precious angel that I held in my arms as she cried in pain, mentally and physically. It's just unacceptable for a man, or anyone for that matter, to treat someone this way, I thought. It was completely disgusting and disrespectful.

I was stressing in the car. If I had come two hours earlier, I thought, I would've been there to protect her. God I'm such an idiot!

I had just noticed that the Olivia's crying had basically stopped, and I was seriously wondering why. I looked at her face considering I was holding her upper body on my legs and John was holding her lower body on his, and noticed her eyes were closed, but her head was tilted back a bit, in a way were it looked almost uncomfortable.

"John, why is she doing that, like, lying like that?" I said with quite a bit of concern.

"Let me see, put the roof light on Roger." John said in a slightly louder tone then I was used too. He used his hand to refer to the light on the roof that could be flicked it on and off. I flicked it on and he shot his head past me so he could inspect his sister.

"No, no, check her pulse Roger!!" He yelled.

"Why? What's wrong with her?!" I yelled back as I held back another tear about to escape the corner of my eye. While doing so I put 2 fingers to just under the her neck and her chin. Her pulse was slow and sluggish.

"It's slow and sluggish!" I said, trying to calm myself down. John looked at her again before he said.

"I've seen her like that before, she's unconscious! Brian, drive bloody faster!!" He yelled. I let a my eyes fill with tears but didn't let them cascade as I rubbed the pad of my thumb over my check to try and see if she would flinch. I couldn't help myself, I had to help her. I didn't know what to do so I just started yelling her name at her face.

"Olivia! Olivia, please!! O!"

"Rog, calm down we're just turning into the hospital, just make sure she's still breathing." John said, calmer than before as he swapped hands to keep pressure on the deep wound of Olivia's bleeding hip. Where her wound was had been basically spitting out blood for the past 5 minutes. I'm assuming that's why she was unconscious but I couldn't take it anymore. She had to get someone to attend to her before I absolutely lost it.
