roger's point of view

I woke up at way-too-early-o'Clock. I had no idea what came over my bodily functions for it to wake me this early, but I was soon overcome with happiness when I saw who was laying next to me.

Olivia.

I couldn't get enough of her. As I thought, ever since I met her, I never wanted her to be just a shag and that was all, I always thought more than that with her. She was worth more than three hours of my time and I knew it.

I wanted to desperately wake her up and kiss her with all my might, telling her how much I adored her and wanted her to be mine. But I decided to be patient. I didn't want to rush her into anything she didn't want, and nonetheless, I didn't even think I could begin to imagine myself in a lasting relationship.

I always knew myself as the guy who could get any girl he wanted, and with that, I meant having a line of girls queuing around the block. Sometimes I thought way to high of myself.

I shifted slightly so I was laying on my side to match Olivia who was directly next to me, her hand resting under her cheek and her arm draped on the side of her own body. Her stunning red, curly hair was all over the place in her face, so ever so slightly I started brushing it out of her face and behind her ears so she could breath easier.

I got so lost in my thoughts about her that I was watching where my hand was going and I poked her straight above her eye just under her eyebrow. She stirred and her eyes lightly fluttered open as her mouth fell open, a large yawn escaping.

I smiled and she replied with the same, bright smile.

"Hi."

"Hey darlin'."

"How are you, Rog?"

"I'm good, hungry."

"That's good."

"You?"

"Hungry, sore."

"Why sore?"

"I have cramps, y'know..." She said, hinting at something else that took me a while to register.

"Oh. Right. You alright?"

"Honestly, I don't know."

"Do you want me to go and get something, or just... go?"

"Can you just go while I get up? Then you can come back and we can cuddle."

"Okay darling, call me if you need me." I said, kissing her cheek and getting up, throwing a shirt on and padding my into the kitchen to start cooking up breakfast.

I had gotten then frypan out and had the bacon on for about three minutes without hearing anything from Olivia, so I turned the frypan on low then went and knocked lightly on the door.

"You alright O?"

I hear her mutter a small "for fucks sake" before answering with a quiet "Yeah."

"Are you sure?" I asked, putting my hand on the door handle ready to open it in case she needed me. She stayed silent for a little longer than required and I was beginning to worry.

"O? Please say something love."

"I'm sorry Roggie." She said barely above a whisper before I heard a few sobs. I immediately went into my protective and supportive best friend mode instead of shy 'friends but more than friends' mode and burst through the door to see her leaning against the bed while sitting on the floor, with the sheets gripped in her hands, tears seeping down her cheeks.
