'Baby you home yet?' I say walking upstairs with bags of shit my mom wanted to give to Amber. It was just some clothes my mom never wears or worn before with the tag still on them. That name brand shit you feel me?
I walk into my room to find her purse on the bed but no Amber.
'Amber? The fuck you at?' I say aloud
'I'm in here Jahseh.' She says from the bathroom
I walk in to see her almost in a deep thought with a blank stare.
'What's wrong?' I ask kneeling down to her at eye level
'I don't really know how you would feel if I told you straight up.' She says making my heart drop
'You kissed somebody? Sucked a nigga dick? Like what the fuck you do? Tell me?' I say getting annoyed
'No Jahseh. It's what you did.' She says making me question myself. What the fuck did I do?
'Huh? What you mean.' I ask
'Look, Go get dressed and changed we're going out to talk about this.' She says getting up from the toilet seat 'I'll pay.'
'Oh, well alright I guess.' I say stepping aside letting her walk past.
'What's in the bags Jah?' She questioned
'That's some shit mama wanted to give you since she's never worn them. They still have tags on them.' I say walking out of the bathroom to the dressers to find something to wear.
'I'll text her and tell her thanks. She's so thoughtful' I heard her say
'Tell me about it.' I smirk
I slipped on a regular white top with a black jacket and a choker with some jeans and shit. Amber helped me put my hair up into a pineapple again she always thought it was cute.
'I'm ready whenever you are.' I said grabbing the keys and my other belongings
'Okay I'm ready babe.' She says grabbing a hold to my arm.
We walked down the stairs and were then on our way out the door to wherever we were gonna eat at. I suppose she's picking.
'So where we're headed boss lady?' She says cranking up the car.
'Duffy's.' She says
'Duffy's?'
'Yes Jah. Duffy's Sports Grill. Stop acting slow.' She laughs
'Oh shit. I think I know what you talking about.' I say typing in the address on my phone.
'It was where our first date was, remember?'
'Yeah I remember now. Pretend that never happened.' I laugh
'Whatever Jah.' She says proceeding to scroll through her phone.
We pulled out of the drive way and were on our way to our destination. The music was up the whole way there.
I couldn't help but to wonder the whole way what she had on her mind to tell me. I braced myself for all bad news that had to possibly come.

'Of course not.' I laugh as the waitress brought our food to the table
'You guys enjoy. Let me know if you need anything, ok?' She says before walking off leaving us to eat.
'Fuck all this eating shit. What you had to tell me?' He says pushing away his plate of food.
'Uh. I don't know how you'll take it Jahseh.'
'I won't be mad or anything I promise just tell me. I'm tired of waiting.' He says
'Ugh. Okay.' I say going into my purse grabbing a plastic zip lock bag I put the test in. 'Here' I say handing him the bag.
'The fuck...' he says looking at it then looking up at me. 'You forreal?' He says happily
'Yes Jahseh. I'm pregnant.' I say wiping a tear
'Damn. I'm finna have a mini me. That's wassup.' He says standing up walking over to hug me showing me so much love.
I could definitely tell this was something he was looking forward too.
'We gon be a family now.' He says 'Damn bruh a nigga ain't tryna cry and shit but I'm dead ass happy bruh. I never would've known.' He says still holding me.
'I know Jahseh.' I say rubbing his back
'Aye we finna get some take out boxes. We going to mamas I wanna tell her.' He says trying to get the waiters attention.
We got our take out boxes and was on our way to his moms.
Later on that day...
Ever since I shared with him the good news he's been excited and bubbly it was cute.
