Listening to a couple of playlists on my Spotify I was rudely interrupted by a phone call.
It was my ex.
"Boy stop playing on my damn phone." Not giving him a chance to speak I quickly hung up in his face.
Me and him just broke up a while ago and he's been bugging me non stop ever since I've moved in with my boy best friend Jahseh. I guess he think we fucking but that ain't the case chief.
Just when I thought I had some peace and quite to myself I was interrupted again by an aggressive ass tap on the shoulder.
It is was Jah of course.
Me and Jahseh met through twitter from me venting to him about my ex almost everyday who I was with at the time and through that we became the best of friends over those 4 years.
I removed my headphones placing them beside me devoting all attention to him.
"Hmmm?"
"Aye im going out with the boys to a lit ass party you wanna come?"
"Ughh...Jah you know I don't fuck with parties like that...who's gonna be there."
"Com'onnn it'll be fun I swear and I'm not sure..but if you go you'll be my date." He says starring into my soul.
I just felt he really wanted me to go. Since we were cool like that...I mean why not?
"Yeah I'll go but only under one condition..."
"And that is?"
"No flirting with other females...PERIOD. I don't wanna look like your pet."
"My pet? Whipped you mean?"
"Duh Jah. I'm not playing don't make me look bad or I'll leave yo ass there by yourself."
"Aight Aight chill. Go get ready and don't be dressing extra and shit."
I stood up grabbing my things rolling my eyes. This niqqa shirtless and telling me not to be extra. Before I went into my room I stood at the top of the stairs leaning on the railing facing him.
"I'm serious Jah..."
"You have my word. Now hurry up it starts in 3 hours!" He yells from the bottom of the staircase.
