Obi Wan POV

I rolled my eyes as I watched Alexa and Anakin argue, this had to stop, we couldn't afford to be wasting time. So I walked over to them and interjected, "Enough, both of you." I said firmly. That, thankfully, was enough to silence them. "Now Anakin, Alexa is already here and we don't have time to argue about all of this. We have to focus on catching Grievous, not arguing amongst ourselves."

"But-"

"Anakin." I warned as he attempted to protest.  "Alexa is coming, end of story."

"Thanks, Obi Wan."  Alexa smiled.

"Don't thank me yet, young one, you are in a lot of trouble for this."

Now that the matter was settled we moved on to planning our attack.

"We know that the Separatist base is located here."  Anakin said, pointed to the position of the base on the holomap.  "The problem is that we don't know much more about it than that."

"So our first move is to place men, here and here," I pointed to more locations, "In order to watch what goes on there and find us a way in."

The men nodded and Anakin ordered Captain Rex to get a squad together to go and scout out the base. If we knew more about the positioning of the droids and any weaknesses in their defence it would be easier to get in and arrest Grievous. Once we did that the droids would have no leader and we would be another step closer to ending the war.

However, as my gaze returned to the map I found myself becoming a little distracted. Going in there would be a very dangerous mission, of course we all knew that, but I was worried about one member of our company in particular. Alexa. We all knew that her skills with a lightsaber were excellent, but even looking at her now it was clear to see that she wasn't her usual self.

I walked over to where she was standing and I sighed as I saw that she didn't look well. "Nausea?" I asked gently.

"I'm fine, thank you, Master Kenobi." She replied. I had to refrain from rolling my eyes, she had always been a stubborn one.

"You can talk to me, Alexa, I just want to know how you're really feeling. You don't look well."

"I..." She wrapped her arms around her stomach and I had to put my hand on her shoulder as she swayed slightly. "I feel sick." She finally admitted in a whisper. "But you can't tell Anakin, or Cora. She can't know. I have to be here with her."

"I know you want to help her, but we can't risk you going into a battle and getting hurt because you're not at your best. You can go back on one of the transports and stay on the Negotiator, away from the fighting. I won't force you to, but I'm asking you to consider it. The last thing any of us want is for you to get hurt, and I know that you're worried about Cora, but I promise you that I won't let her out of my sight and Anakin will make sure she is protected too."

"It's not that I don't trust you and Anakin, but I have to see this through." She replied, even as it looked like she might be sick.

"Alright." I sighed. It didn't look like I was going to be able to talk her out of it. "But that means that either Anakin or I will be with you at all times during this. We aren't going to let you pull any stunts today." I chuckled, trying to make her feel a little better. Thankfully she did smile.

"Thank you, Obi Wan."

"Always. Let's just make sure that we get you and my grandchild back to Coruscant in one piece."

Alexa chuckled and looked at me with a small smirk.  "Grandchild?  I thought that Maya had decided you were the baby's great grandfather."

"She might have, but...  Well I don't think I'm that old yet."
