Chapter 11

Since the observation day, Sting continuously bother you, either he take away your books, poking your face, rubbing your head, well more like moving your head from side to side, and such. The same thing also happen to Lucy. After her group work with Natsu, she's been followed by Natsu almost everywhere she goes, except the toilet and the station. This thing makes both of you being center of attention. Some people, well more like A LOT OF PEOPLE look at both of you with hate and grudge. You just wish this would eventually stop.

Today is Thursday. The lessons for the day are already over, but you can't go home just yet. Why? Because you need to finish your observation report with Sting. He told you to meet him in the library to finish it. You want to tell Lucy about the work you have to do, but she's already missing.

I wonder where she goes. She didn't even tell me.

You then just go to the library. To your surprise, right now, you can see 4 people that you know so well sitting in one table. You then go to them and sit at the table beside theirs.

"So... Is this somekind of double date?" Your sudden appearance startled them, but your words startled them the most. In this situation, Erza and Jellal are completely red of embarassement, while Lucy and Natsu reply at the same time.

"Kind of."

"It's Not That!"

You chuckle at their somehow harmonic timing.

"Good to know Natsu." You then open your phone to look at the new come message while ignoring Lucy's and Erza's complaint about they're not double dating. You then realize that the message are from Sting.

'Sorry I'll be late. I need to give something to my friend. Can you please get some reference books first? From what i remember, there is one book in the encyclopedia isle called Plant's Behavior. You can use it. Well then, See Ya!'

That blondie...

You then make your way to the isle and look for a certain book. When you find it, you realize how high it was placed. You then ask the librarian for permission to use the small wooden ladder to help you reach the book. Even though you already use the ladder, you still have to stand on your tip toe. When you already reach it and about to take it, the ladder broke and make you fall with your hand still on the book that make some of the books fall with you and some thick books even fall to your head. This event make a lot of people run to your incident place, including the librarian and four of your friends. Looking at you who haven't stand after a while make Lucy and Erza who witness it run to you and quickly help you. Jellal and Natsu trailing behind them. You hang your head low while putting your hand on your forehead because it hurts so much.

"(Y/N), are you alright?" Erza asks you trying to test your focus because your head didn't seem really good after the incident. You're about to answer and lift your head when suddenly a certain red substances fall to one of the book. Not only once, it falls a few time until one of them, Jellal to be exact, notice it and quickly lift your head up.

"You're bleeding aren't you?" Jellal say loudly when lifting your head. To his surprise, there are a lot of blood coming out of your head. The other looks so surprised and you're about to be taken to the infirmary by Lucy and Erza. But when you're about to walk, you feel as if the world is spinning and fall unconscious. The other look at you surprised by you who suddenly fall.

"N-Natsu! Help me take her to the infirmary please." Lucy support your body while looking at Natsu. Natsu about to answer but then look at Lucy's now wet face because of her tears. He then quickly lift you up and go to the infirmary with Lucy. The other stand there without a word, then the librarian make the other students go back to their activity and get out of the library. But Erza still standing near the place where you've fallen.

"How could you be so reckless." Erza say silently while sob a little. But then Jellal notice something.

"Erza! Look!" Jellal say a little bit loud to make the certain girl notice him. He then show her something that looks like wood block.

"What's that?"

"This is strange."

"What?"

"It's the piece of the wooden ladder." Then, reality hit her like a truck. How can the ladder broke just like that? Haru is not that heavy. Why is it only that certain part broken? How can the broken part look so cleanly cut? There are so many questions on her head until she think of something.

"It was being set."

"What?"

"Someone cut it." Jellal look at Erza with a questioning face.

"We need to find that person. I'll kill them myself."
