Bet (STING X READER) [under editing]

Chapter 32

"Who did this?" Sting asks with no emotion. Which means he tried to make himself numb so he won't do anything reckless because of his anger.

"We don't know. W-we came here and this had already happened." Juvia says while still trying to comfort you. Sting then walk to your locker and try to remove the rose vines which contain lots of thorn. You're still on your shock state but come back to your senses when you felt something wet fall on your foot. You then realize that it's Sting's blood. You quickly stand and pull his hands away.

"What are you doing?!" You ask him, furious because of how worried you are. You can practically see that his hands are covered with blood.

"What do you think am i doing?"

"Just stop it. You're hurting yourself."

"And they're hurting you!" He shout at you. This is unexpected. You never thought he would care this much to you.

"Are you just going to stand there, go back on your uwabaki and let them have the fun of you wearing that stupid indoor shoes while you can't even touch your shoes?! Is that what you want?!"

"It isn't! But that doesn't mean i can't do it by myself." You try to defend yourself.

"Is that so? But i won't let you." He says emotionless.

"Huh?" He then continue his work with your shoes making even more blood trickling on his arm. You motion Juvia to leave first so you can have a proper conversation with the boy. You quickly pull his hands away again.

"I told you. Stop it!"

"And if i won't?"

"I'll make you."

"I'd like to see you try." He says with tone that clearly underestimating you. You scratch your arm with the thorn that makes blood fall freely on your hand. This makes the boy surprised by your action.

"Why did you-?"

"That's how i felt when you're hurting yourself you know?" You look at him with sad eyes. He then back to his senses and sigh loudly. He put his forehead on your shoulder and hug your waist. You're surprised at his gesture. Heck, surprised is an understatement for you, but you try to regain your composure.

"I told you to try to act like what you look right?" He asks you a little bit mumbling.

"Huh?"

"I told you didn't I?" He asks you and you answer with a nod.

"It means that you should try to act weak for once. You're a girl. You might be strong, but it's okay to act like what you want sometimes." His words hit you hard. All this time, his words means that you should try to stop the act. He didn't say it but you can feel as if he's telling you to rely on him even just a little bit. You haven't been able to let out a lot of emotion. The scared, sad, angry, hurt and those kind of things have been erased from your life since the day you feel the need of protecting Lucy. Protecting her not only mean physically, but also her feelings, so you tried to kill those feelings for the sake of the one you love the most. The thing is, you even forgot the need to feel. So when Sting say those words, those feelings, those emotions, those thoughts you've buried deep inside you, had flood back to you. Right there and then, you let it all out in front of him. You cried, bawl, and let all your emotion out. He hug you tight and let you cry on his chest. He didn't care about the tears and blood that stained his clothes. He just glad that you want to let it all out in front of him. He is the first person that is able to do this to you. Then, he whisper things to you that makes you want to cry even more.

"I'll always be by your side. I love you."
