a/n: Hey! Welcome to chapter two! Hope you like it!
Jade's POV
"Jasmine and Jolie, get over here now!" I shout at my twins as they run in circles all around the studio. "Relax babe," I hear someone say behind me. Startled, not realizing anyone else was here, I turn to see Jesy placing a soothing hand on my shoulder. "Thanks," I say, stopping to catch my breath. "They'll grow out of this phase eventually, all you have to do is wait for a few weeks until Jed gets home," she says softly. Jed, his name relaxes, yet sends chills through my body. He has been great helping me with the twins any chance he gets, but we haven't been getting along great for the past few weeks. None of the girls know because I don't want to make it a big deal when it isn't, considering we'll get over it and everything will be normal again.
The door opening brought me back into reality as Perrie and Leigh walk in. Realizing their presence, the twins run over to greet them. "Auntie Perrie and Auntie Leigh!" the girls shout in sync. "Come here!" Leigh says as they run into her arms, doing the same with Perrie. "Hey, I'm here too!," says Jesy, pretending to be sad. Noticing Jesy, the girls run from Perrie and Leigh over to Jesy.
"Why don't you girls go watch Aladdin in the viewing room? Grandma will be here soon to watch you both for the day," I say to my daughters. "Okay, mama," Jolie says, running into the other room, stopping when she realizes her sister isn't behind her. "But mama, I want to stay with you, until Grandma gets here," said Jasmine. I bend down to meet eyes with her. "I wish I could spend all day with you too but I have to work," I say softly. "I'll be right out here if you need me, Paul is going to help you start the movie," I say as I see Paul walking towards the room with Jolie. "Okay," she replies quietly. She gives me a quick hug and runs into the other room.
Sighing a breath of air, I plop down on the couch where the other girls were sitting. "I don't know how you do it, I have one and Alex helping me and I'm still struggling," Perrie says making me laugh. "When's Jed due back?" Leigh asks. "Two weeks," I respond, "But enough about me how's baby Rhea doing?" Leigh smiles, "Adorable, she's walking fairly stable now and eats everything," Leigh says proudly. "That baby is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen, no offense," Jesy says looking at me and Perrie. "None taken, I second that," I say. "Me too," adds Perrie in an American accent, making us laugh.
For a second it felt like how it was when we first started making music. Before the stress, before all of the responsibilities. Don't get me wrong I love my family, but I miss how simple life was back then.
Jesy POV
We had finished laughing over Perrie's comment when a car pulled up outside. It was Norma here to take the twins. Jade walked over to greet her and followed her into the room to say goodbye. "Bless her," I say, Leigh and Perrie agreeing with head nods. As Norma, Jasmine, and Jolie leave, the car to take us to our interview pulls up. We all file out of the studio and are on our way.
The ride over was comforting. It was quiet, except for the soft sound of the music coming from the radio, but in a nice way. We arrive at a small convention center in South London. We were having multiple interviews by different platforms so it was easier to all meet here. We make our way into the room where the interviewer was and begin.
"Hey ladies! How are you all today? I'm Mary and I'm going to be asking you a little about your album. You guys look stunning as always," the interviewer starts, putting a good mood in the room. We do so many interviews, so when we have an interviewer that's an actual fan is almost relieving.

"Hi girls! I'm Sam and I'm going to be talking more about your lives at the moment," Sam says starting our next interview. "Perrie, your family is a dream!" she continues. "Awe thanks, I love them so much!" blushes Perrie. "Jade, how excited are you for your man to be home?" Sam asks. I felt Jade tense up for a second before answering, "I'm so excited, I can't wait for things to be perfect again," she answers in almost a fake tone, leaving me confused. "Leigh-Anne, Jacob and Rhea are the cutest things ever!" Leigh gives a big smile, "Awe thank you!" she beams. "And finally Jesy, how serious are you about fostering some kids?" I smile, "Chris and I are pretty serious about it. It would be great to help out some kids who are in bad situations and give them a good life," I respond. "Would it be soon?" the interviewer asks. "Probably not too soon, but within the next year or so, I want to say," I answer. "That's great girls! Now, I want to play a game with you all..."
*skip the rest of that interview*
Leigh-Anne POV
We're on our lunch break now, we still have two more interviews and we are singing an acoustic version of our new single. Making are way to our dressing room, I hear Perrie getting excited about lunch. "What do you all want? I vote Nandos," she says. "I'm down," I say. "Same," Jesy adds. "Me too," Jade says. Perrie goes over to order the food and I see Jesy motioning Jade to come with her to the other side of the room, making quick eye contact with her, she nods and I follow them over. "When the interviewer asked about Jed," Jesy started, "I felt you tense up. And when you answered you almost seemed as if you didn't want him home. Is everything alright?" she asks looking at Jade. Jade's head just falls to look at the ground. I swear Jesy has some sixth sense when it comes to anyone of us being down, she just knows and always has the right thing to say.
"I don't know," Jade spoke up, "We've just been fighting a lot recently and I'm scared if he comes home, it's just going to get worse." Perrie had finished ordering and joined us. "Of course I want him to come home but I guess I'm just nervous," Jade says, still looking at the floor. "Awe don't worry," Jesy says, "if you too can be separate for so long and still be in love, it's going to take more then a few arguments to break you two up," she finishes. Jade just nods her head. "Group hug!" Perrie shouts from behind me as we all do a big hug.
*20 minutes later*
There was a knock on the door. Perrie, of course still excited, runs over to open it, taking our food from the delivery man and paying him. "My treat," Perrie says while handing out the food. "You don't have to do that," I say. "I want to," Perrie says with a smile on her face, "you girls have been amazing to me for 12 years, the least I can do is buy you all lunch." We continue to eat and chat about our lives.
*skip interviews and performance*
The day is done and we're all getting ready to leave. "Do you girls want to grab dinner on the way back? My mam has got the twins for another hour?" Jade asks shyly. "Of course," the three of us say in unison, making everyone laugh. We thank the interviewers and tech and make our way out the door.
a/n: There's chapter two! I tried to make this one a little longer considering the last one was too short for my liking. I know Jaded shippers are going to come for me. I ship them too, but there needed to be some drama. There will be more drama coming, not just from Jade. Have a lovely day! -Honey
