Time Ahead

chapter forty-three

Perrie's POV:

I groan as I slowly start to wake up. My eyes open slightly and I saw Alex still sleeping next to me. As I started to stand up to get out of bed I peered over to the other end of the room to see Izzy still asleep. I quietly walked out of the room and into the kitchen. "Hey," Jade says from the couch. "Hi, want anything?" I ask as I open the cupboard to get some tea. Jade and the twins had spent the night in our suite last night after Izzy insisted they had a sleepover. Jade shook her head and went back to putting Kaiden in his playset. "What are you doing up so early?" she asks. "What time is it?" I ask slightly confused. I didn't check the time, I just saw light outside. "7am," she replies. "Woah," I said slightly surprised. "That never happens," I laugh. I grab my finished tea from the counter and walk over to the living room area. "Aww, you look so cute," Jade says. I was confused by what she meant at first until I saw my reflection in the mirror. "Woah, my bump has gotten a lot bigger in the past few days," I say, rubbing my stomach.

I sit next to Jade on the couch and sip my tea. I watch Kaiden play with his toys, smiling and making small noises. "Can I hold him?" I ask, making puppy dog eyes at Jade even though she always says yes. "Sure," she says as she picks him up. He starts to get a little fussy as she puts him in my arms. "Hi, its been awhile since Izzy was this small," I said in a baby voice. He was close to six months old, but was still the size of a newborn. He started to calm down as I rocked him. I see Jade snapping a picture out of the corner of my eye. "I saw that," I say laughing. "Sorry, it was sweet," she says, smiling at the picture. "I can't wait!" I say, thinking about baby bean being born. "When are you doing the gender reveal?" Jade asked. "I think Jess said Friday. We'll be back in the UK for a few days so family can come," I said. Its always been a tradition for Jesy to plan our gender reveal parties. They always turn out magical.

We sat on the couch for a few hours until it was time to head over to the venue for our concert tonight. "Are you sure you want to perform?" Jade asked as we put our shoes on. "We can tone down the choreography a little and make it more comfortable," Jade suggests. "Nah, i'll be fine," I say. Jade nods in response. "Ready?" I ask. "Yeah," she said, grabbing her bag.

We went down to the venue and got settled in the dressing room. Jesy and Leigh were already there in hair and makeup. I put my costume on and look in the mirror again. "This thing is getting tight," I say. "Well, you did get pregnant on tour," Leigh says. I look at her mad, joking. She responds with sticking her tongue out at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed. Once all of us were ready, we walked hand-in-hand to the stage. I could hear the fans chanting "Little Mix." It got me slightly emotional before we even got on stage. You never get used to that feeling. Our first songs are heavy with choreography and a lot of high notes. We got a costume change between the next section of the concert so I got a moment to breathe. We sang our slower songs which had no choreography and we got to sit so it made it easy for me. Our last section are all of our big hits from past albums. There is choreography but it's not that intense and more of a freestyle. By the time the show was over, I was feeling great.

"That was so good!" Leigh said once we got offstage. "Yeah the crowd was so loud!" Jade said. "How are you feeling Perrie?" Jesy asked, placing a hand on my shoulder. "I feel great!" I said truthfully. Leigh shoots me a look like I was lying. "No honestly. I feel really good," I said smiling. I was just worried slightly about the fans noticing my bump. Our costumes for the whole concert aren't very tight, and none of them are two-piece, so I think I got away with it.

Once all of our stuff was packed up, I met Alex with Izzy outside. "That was great babe," he said, giving me a kiss. "Thanks, I say smiling. "Did you like it?" I ask, bending down to Izzy's level. She nodded and smiled. Izzy doesn't normally come to the concerts, we usually have all the kids play in a serrate room in the venue or the hotel with someone from our staff. "Do you think you'll want to be a singer?" I ask. "No," she says not interested. "She'll definitely be an athlete," Alex said. She smiled and nodded. Izzy has always been like Alex. She likes sports and being outside while I could care less about it. I grab onto Izzy's hand and Alex does the same. We start walking over to our car across the lot. "How are you?" Alex asks, giving me a look so I knew what he meant. "Really good," I say smiling. "Good," he says, returning the smile. Once we reach the car, Izzy climbed inside. "Don't worry, she'll be excited," Alex said motioning towards Izzy. "I hope so," I say before climbing into the car.

a/n: I AM SPEECHLESS. I absolutely LOVE the LM5 tour. all of them crying to the cure was really emotional but they way they all banded together was so powerful. Also I watched Jesy's documentary and it was so sad. I'm so happy she made it though and it really shows how strong she is
