Jesy's POV:

"Babe, are you ready?" I call to Chris down the hall. "Yeah, just give me one sec," he calls back. "I can't believe it's adoption day!" I say to him once he enters the room. "I know, it's crazy to think that we're going to be parents," he say. I nod in agreement.

We hop in the car and start driving to the courthouse. We walk in and are greeted by Sophie. She runs over and gives us a hug. "Hi babe. How are you?" I ask her. "Good," she says in a cute voice. "Are you ready to make this official?" the lady asked us. "More than ready," I answer.

"You are now officially the parents of Sophie Hughes," the judge says. I hug Chris and than hug Sophie. We had to take the picture but I am balling my eyes out. I look over to Chris who is barely keeping together as well. "Well, we're a family," I say. Sophie looks up at me with the biggest smile I've ever seen. "Thank you," she says hugging us again. My heart melts as I embrace her in my arms. "Want to get some ice cream?" I ask. She nods her head excitedly. "Okay, let's go.

We drive down to the ice cream shop on the corner and head inside. "What flavor do you want babes?" I ask her. "Chocolate!" she says. A girl after my own heart. "Can I have two chocolate and a vanilla please?" I order. Chris takes Sophie to a table while I wait for our ice cream. I watch them sit and talk. The smiles on their faces are priceless. "Here you go," the lady said which made me jump. I grab the ice cream and head over to the table.

"So, are you excited to see your new room?" I ask her. "I get my own room?" she asks. "Of course, you don't have to share anymore," I say. Her face lit up with excitement. "Are you going to be up to make some new friends tonight?" I ask her. She smiled and nodded her head. "Good, because I know some kids who are dying to meet you," I say. "Really?" she asked. "Yeah," I say smiling. We chatted for a while before heading home.

We got out of the car and I grabbed Sophie's small hand. "Are you ready?" I ask her. "Yeah," she says. The three of us walk into the house. "Woah," she says completely shocked. As far as I know, she hasn't ever been in an actual house before, and if she was she probably doesn't remember. "Do you want to go see your room?" I ask her once she's looked around. "Yes please," she says. I guide her up the stairs and down the hall, up to a closed door. "This is it," I say. "Go ahead, open it," I say. She opens the door and runs inside. "Wow!" she squeals in excitement. Her room was a beautiful light pink with white furniture. She had a whole arts and crafts table where she could draw. "This is mine?" she asks looking over at me. "All yours," I say. She runs over and gives me a hug. "You have fun. Our guests will be here in a little bit," I say.

I hear a knock on the door and I rush over to open it. "Hi!" Perrie says when I open the door. She gives me a quick hug and I lead her, Alex, and Izzy inside. "Chris, could you go get Sophie from her room please?" I ask him. "Of course," he says getting up. "Is it weird having a child?" Perrie asks. "A little bit, but I love it already," I say. Perrie hugs me again and I bend down to Izzy's level. "How are you?" I ask her. "Good," she says. I ruffle her hair a little and then I hear footsteps behind me. "This is Sophie," I say taking her hand. "Sophie, this is Auntie Perrie, Uncle Alex, and Izzy," I say. "Hi Sophie, how are you?" Perrie asks her. "Good," she says, suddenly getting shy. "Do you and Izzy want to go play in the living room?" I ask them. Sophie and Izzy both nodded and they ran off to go play. There was another knock at the door. This time, Leigh emerged from the door way. "I'm so excited!" Leigh says. "Come this way," I say leading her into the living room. "Sophie, this is Auntie Leigh, Uncle Andre, Jacob, and Rhea," I say. She waves at them with warms my heart. Jacob runs over to join them with Rhea following behind. "She's too cute," Leigh says. There was a final knock on the door. I go and open the door and let Jade, the twins, and Kaiden in. "Jaz and Jolie have been asking nonstop when they can meet her," Jade says, which puts a smile on my face. "You ready girls?" I ask them. They both nod their heads up and down. We walk into the living room. "Sophie, these are the last people. This is Auntie Jade, Jaz, Jolie, and Kaiden," I say. "Everyone, this is Sophie. The twins run over to the rest of the kids playing. They are all smiling and laughing so that's a good sign. "Want to go eat some food?" I ask Perrie, Leigh, and Jade, who nodded in response.

We walk into the kitchen where I have a variety of foods set out. Chips, pizza, deserts, basically everything. "Now Jess, I have to ask. Did you make that cheesecake, or buy it?" Jade asked pointing to the cheesecake that is set out. "I most definitely bought it from the shop down the street," I said laughing. I poured each of them a drink and we gathered around the table. "To us, and Sophie," Leigh says holding her glass up. Jade took a sip of her water as Kaiden started to fuss in her arms. She gently rocked him back to sleep. I look around and unintentionally the three of us are all smiling and watching her. "What?" she asks when she notices us. "You're just so cute," Perrie says laughing. "Thank you," Jade says still rocking Kaiden. I heard someone enter the room. I look over and see Sophie standing in the hallway. "Do you need something babe?" I ask her. "I made this for you," she says handing me a piece of paper. I look at it and it is a drawing of all of us. "It's beautiful," I say tearing up. I give her a hug and she runs back to the other kids. "That was the most adorable thing I've ever seen," Leigh says. "I love her," Perrie says. "Me too," I say admiring the drawing. I hang it up and the fridge and show the girls. "Aww, that's so cute!" Jade says.

Once everyone had cleared out Chris started to clear off the tables and I went to put Sophie to bed. We walked into her room and she crawled under the covers. I tucked her in and she smiled at me. "Goodnight, I love you," I say giving her a kiss on the head. "Love you too mummy," she said before closing her eyes. My heart melted at those words. She called me mummy.
