Time Ahead

chapter sixty

No one's POV:

After few weeks, Chris and Jesy welcomed Noah into their home. They didn't tell anyone about it until after everything was finalized. Everyone were thrilled to meet him. Sophie loved him the second they met and are inseparable. Noah came from a home that was filled with chaos and was eventually abandoned, so he found comfort in Sophie always wanting to play with him. Their smiles never left either of their faces.

Everyone was now over at Jesy and Chris's house to meet Noah and hang out. But what the girls didn't know was that Jesy had another surprise up her sleeve. The kids had gone to play in their playroom. The boys were hanging out on the porch and the girls were sat in the living room.

They were attempting to have a night like they used to after tour. A big sleepover with lots of food, movies, and talking. This was their most successful try so far with Alex having Luke, Jed having Kaiden, and the kids being so distracted with Noah.

They loved him. All of the kids were so excited to spend time with him. Jacob especially was excited to play with a boy who wasn't understanding a year old, even though he was still pretty young compared to him.

Noah was also really excited. He had gotten new toys to go in his new bedroom, which was music themed. His favorite being a piano that you could set to different music and sounds. Jesy and Chris knew he was going to grow up to follow in Jesy's footsteps and make music.

"I've missed this," Leigh-Anne said, laying with a soft blanket as Jesy flickered through movie options. "Me too," Jade said agreeing. "It's like we had kids and forgot to spend time away from them," Perrie said laughing. "I wouldn't trade it for a thing though," Jade said smiling. "Me too," the others said.

"Girls, I have a small surprise for you," Jesy said putting down the remote. She saw this as her perfect opportunity. "Is it food?" Perrie asked excitedly. "No, not this time," Jesy said laughing. She got up and motioned the other girls to come with her. The other three followed until Jesy stopped in the kitchen. The three girls sat at the barstools as Jesy reached under the cabinet and grabbed three boxes.

She set the boxes in front of each of the girls. "Okay open them," Jesy said with a smile. The girls opened their boxes and each pulled out something different. Perrie had a bottle, Leigh-Anne had a pair of baby shoes, and Jade had a rattle.

"Oh my god," Leigh-Anne said. "You're adopting a newborn!" Perrie said jumping out of her chair giving Jesy a hug. Leigh-Anne and Jade quickly followed and joined the group hug. "No," Jesy tried to say but wasn't heard over the other girls' excitement. "I'm pregnant!," she shouted. The three immediately stopped jumping. All of them looked at her with wide eyes. They hugged her a little more carefully with tears streaming down all of their faces. "Finally," Perrie said.

a/n: thank you all so much for reading this book! 33k, that's insane! i'm so sad this has come to an end. this was the first book i've ever written so i've learned a lot while writing this. the sequel is called "In Time" and will be out soon. i've already written the first ten chapters so be ready (fyi it's A LOT better then this book). it's a bit of a different writing style, so it sounds a little more put together and detailed. i wasn't sure how to end this book since this isn't really the end, so i'm sorry if this seems like it ended quickly or abrupt. i hope to see you all in the sequel!
