a/n: here's chapter 11! enjoy!

Jade POV:

Today I have my first doctor appointment for the baby. It's mostly just a check up to make sure, I am indeed pregnant and everything is okay. "Hey babe, we have to leave soon," I hear Perrie say from outside the bedroom door. "Okay, be out in a sec," I call back. Once I finish putting on my lipstick, I open the door to be greeted by the twins standing there. "Hey girls!" I say bending down to hug each of them. "Where are you going?" Jolie asks. "The doctor," I say. Both of them had a confused look on their face. "Are you okay?" Jaz asked. For only being three, they are really smart and very protective over me. "Yeah, it's just a check up," I say reassuring them. I didn't want to tell them about the baby yet because I want to make sure everything's going well first.

I grab both of their hands and we walk down the stairs. "Are you ready?" Perrie asks. "Yeah," I say, giving each of the girls a hug again and give them each a kiss on the cheek. "Bye girls," I say while we walk out the door.

Perrie must've noticed me staring out the window, with my hand over my stomach while she was driving. "Are you nervous?" she asked me, startling me a bit. "Yeah, its just that i've been really sick, so I'm a little worried," I respond. "You both are fine," she says smiling which made me relax a little. I just nodded. Perrie offered to come with me to the appointment, which I graciously accepted. If she didn't come, I would've had to have made my mam come, which was a little bit of a drive just for an appointment.

We arrived at the doctor and checked in. Luckily it was a doctor's office that offered others things that weren't related to pregnancy or else we would've had to be more cautious of any paps or fans. "Have you thought about how and when you're going to tell the fans?" Perrie asked. I had completely forgotten about that. "Honestly no. I've been thinking of how I tell Jed, if I even tell him," I answer. "Well, it is your decision if you tell him or not," Perrie says, "No matter what you choose to do, he'll see it on the news either way, but me, Jesy, and Leigh will be there to support you no matter what," she says making me smile. "Thanks," I say, giving her a quick hug. "Jade Thirlwall?" the nurse called from the door. Perrie and I both stand up and walk into the hall.

Once we get into the room, the nurse starts asking me questions, like how far along I think I am and stuff like that. Once she left, the doctor walked in shortly after. "Hey, so you've been experiencing really bad morning sickness?" he asks me. "Yeah, do you think there's anything wrong?" I ask nervously. "Probably not. It's pretty common in some people during their second pregnancy," he said reassuringly. Relieved a little, I nod.

"I'm going to take an ultrasound okay?" he asks me softly. I nod in response. He lifts up my shirt a little and put the cold gel on. "Okay," he says slightly to himself while looking at the screen. I look over at Perrie, who gave me a smile before both of our eyes were fixed on the screen. "So, I can confirm that you are, pregnant," he says. "I'm going to find the heartbeat." After a few failed attempts, I start to get worried. "Is everything alright?" I ask with a nervous tone, causing Perrie to grab my hand and give it a squeeze. "I'm pretty sure, it's just seems like the little one is making it hard to find the heartbeat," he says with an unsure tone. After a few more attempts, a loud sound can be heard in the room. Relieved, I relax a little. "There's your baby," he says smiling, pointing to the screen. "You're about 14 weeks," the doctor says, making me and Perrie a little shocked. "But she's so small," Perrie says pointing at my barely visible bump. "Yeah, the baby's pretty small, which I think is why it was hard to find the heartbeat. Nothing wrong though, just small," he says, "Would you like to know the gender?" I thought about it for a second. "Can you write it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope?" I ask. "Of course," he responds, doing that. "I have to ask, sorry if it's personal," he continues, "Do you know the father?" I bite my lip, "Yeah, just some issues with him," I say. "Okay, it's just normally they come to the appointment. Are you keeping the baby?" he asks. I felt Perrie squeeze my hand again. Honestly, I hadn't even thought of not keeping it. "Yes, I am," I answer.

"I would like to see you again in about a month, just to make sure the baby is growing properly," he says handing us the envelope, as we walk out. We get into the car and I'm still shocked. "Are you okay babe?" Perrie asks when she looks over at me. "Yeah, just didn't realize how far along I was," I say, "It makes sense because Jed came to visit for a few nights in between his two long trips." Perrie rubs my shoulder before she starts the car, "Let's go home and tell the family."

Once we get to the house, I go find the twins. "Hey girls," I call to them once I find them outside, "Can I talk to you both?" They ran over, "Yeah!" We walked into the living room. Perrie walked over and sat on the couch next to the one the twins sat on, I just sat on the ottoman in front of them. "So, I have some news for you girls, do you want to know what it is?" I ask, getting two head nods in response. "How would you feel if you two had a brother or sister?" I ask, nervous for their reaction. "Are we getting one?" Jaz's eyes lit up. "Yes, mamy has a baby in her tummy," I say with a smile. "Yay!" they both shouted, jumping up off the couch and moving to where I was sitting. Jolie placed her tiny hand on my stomach. "There?" she asked. "Yes, the baby is in there," I answered her. "Hi!" Jaz said, trying to talk to the baby, which made me laugh. "But, don't worry. The baby might get a lot of attention, but it doesn't change how much I love both of you," I say wrapping my arms around them. "Okay," they both responded, hugging me back.

I forgot Perrie was still there until I heard her say, "You all are too cute," holding her phone up recording. "How long have you been filming?" I ask laughing. "The whole time," she said with a smile. I just shake my head and laugh.
