I couldn't contain the scream. Seeing his name filled me with memories that I didn't want to experience again. I heard my name being called and loud footsteps as they came up the stairs quickly. I turned around to see Daniel.
                              "What happened?"
"It's from Dylan." My hands began trembling. I looked at it, trying to read it, only I couldn't focus. My eyes kept creeping down to the bottom of the page to his name. "I can't read it." I threw it to the floor and ran into my apartment and onto the couch. I pulled my knees up to my chest. What does Dylan want now? Is he not satisfied with what happened before?
Daniel walked into the apartment with the letter in his hands, obviously reading it. "Teghan. We need to go. Dylan has been waiting for you to come back. I am not leaving you here alone."
"Why won't he leave me alone?" Tears rose in my eyes again. Stop crying. Get your act together.
"Pack a few things. We need to go quickly."
I didn't ask any more questions. I got to my feet and went into my bedroom, moving without thought. I grabbed a bag and put in a change of clothes. I then moved into the bathroom and put in the necessary toiletries. I grabbed a jacket and met Daniel in the living room again.
"Let's go." He said, holding my door open for me again. I smiled slightly at him and walked down the stairs. We got back into the car. The two in the front seats to look at Daniel.
"What's going on?" One asked; the one who had been driving.
"Dylan knows where she lives." He waved the letter in front of the driver's face. The driver took it, reading it quickly before passing it to the person next to him.
"This isn't good." The driver shook his head. "But where is she going to stay?"
"Let's worry about that after we have driven away. Drive." Daniel said before sitting back, drawing his seatbelt across his chest. I put my seatbelt on as the engine started.
"Where are we heading, Glen?" The man in the passenger seat asked. I took that to be the driver's name.
"Let's just head back to the hotel. Things can be sorted out from there." He said, his Irish accent strong.
"I'm sorry." I found myself saying.
"For what?" Glen asked, sounding genuinely surprised that I was apologising. "You didn't ask for this to happen. Don't worry about it."
The rest of the drive was in silence. I looked over at Daniel a few times, seeing him deep in thought. I didn't want to make him lose his train of thought, so I stayed quiet. It wasn't long before Glen parked the car in front of a hotel. It was huge. Feeling out of place, I climbed out of the car and slung my bag over my shoulder.
"You guys are staying here?" I asked, obviously looking gob-smacked. Glen nodded. "Who are you people?"
Daniel smiled at me and led us through the hotel, up in the elevator and into a hotel room. Inside was neat and tidy, everything white or pearl grey. On the side were hair products and various other things. From that information, I knew it was either Glen or Daniel's room, as the third man was bald. There was a small suitcase propped up against one side of the double bed. Glen said that I should sit on the bed, so I did. Daniel and the third man pulled up chairs, and Glen sat on the floor.
"So, the situation at hand." Glen began. "How are we going to go about it?"
"Well, we are hoping that Dylan doesn't know where Teghan is right now." The bald man said.
"I can't hide forever." I said, meeting Daniel's eyes. I felt myself get lost in their endless depth.
"We don't want you to, but I, personally, think it will be best if you stay here until we find a solution." Glen said.
                              The other two agreed.
So, it was decided: I would follow these three men around until my stalker vanished or stopped trying to kill me.
