“How did you get this number?” I felt my voice rising, becoming more and more hysterical.
                              “I have sources.”
                              “Just leave me alone.”
“Why would I do that?” He laughed down the phone.
“I have people here who can hurt you.” I tried to make my voice sound stronger.
“Really? Those three Irish guys? Couldn’t you do better?”
                              “How do you know that?”
“I think you really belittle my power.” He laughed again.
I felt myself walking. My eyes were blurring with tears. Don’t cry. He can’t hurt you. “You won’t hurt me. Here is too public.”
“Shall we test out that theory?”
The dressing room was in sight. I only had to round that corner and they would be there. Everything would be okay. “Go for it.” Somehow, my voice didn’t shake. I felt my feet carry me towards the door.
“I know where you’re going. The dressing room? Really?”
I stopped dead in my tracks. How could he know where I was heading?
“You’ve stopped. Are you trying to piece the puzzle together?” I didn’t answer. “Want a hint? Look up.”
Without asking myself why I should, I did. On the wall, there was a security camera, pointed directly at me. I turned around, seeing more pointed at different directions on the wall.
“Clever, isn’t it? I will know exactly where you are.” I could hear his breathing down the phone.
I began to run towards the dressing room. He could see me, which means he could find me. I didn’t want to be left alone.
“It was nice to catch up with you. I will see you in a while.” I rounded the corner as Dylan hung up.
Everyone in the room turned to look at me. I felt the colour running from my face.
“What happened?” Danny asked first, stepping slowly towards me.
I shook my phone towards him. “Dylan.”
“What?” Glen and Mark exchanged glances.
“He phoned me. He knows exactly where I am. He’s using the security cameras.” I felt my body begin to shake. “He will be able to kill me.” I choked out the words. Mark jumped out of the chair. Glen came over and rested his hand on my shoulder.
“He won’t kill you. I won’t let him.” I heard Glen say. I met his eyes.
“I’m so scared.” I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
“Mark, you should tell security. Dan, go with him.” Glen said, turning to stand in front of me. Glen couldn’t see, but the look that Danny gave him was filthy. He didn’t make a fuss though. “Teghan. You’re going to be okay. Dylan is not going to hurt you.”
Another tear rolled down my cheek. “How can you be sure?”
“Because I am not going to let anything happen to you. You won’t feel a thing as long as I am here, okay?”
I nodded slowly. Glen rested his hand against my cheek and wiped away my tears with his thumb. I felt weak and rested into his hand slightly. I closed my eyes.
Shortly, 3 tall security guards strolled in with broad shoulders. Glen stayed by my side as I explained what had happened to them. They nodded and ran off separate ways.
“They will find him. I promise you.”His hands were down by his sides. Gently, his fingers grazed against mine. I couldn’t help but blush slightly. I looked up at him and saw his beautiful smile.
Danny and Mark appeared soon after, Ben and Rodney trailing after them. “It’s time for us to go.”
It was a quick walk to the stage. I followed after them, Glen purposely walking slower so he matched my pace. Someone passed him his drumsticks as he stood, ready to go onto stage. I stood next to him. “Good luck with the show.”
“It’s you I’m more concerned about.” He said, looking straight into my eyes.
“I’m just going to be stood here with Selena. You enjoy your job. Don’t let me get in the way.” I tried to smile at him. Before he could say anything back, he had to go on stage.
