"It look likes my parents are home," I tell him.

"Chicken poo, I can't believe I agreed to marriage and I've not met your parents," he says.

"What do my parents have to do with us," I ask. "You know any good married depends on having in-laws," he says. I really wanted to ask him did he have a good relationship with Sidney's parent but I held my tongue before we got into another argument.

"So you already said yes, so no backies," I said and we ran up yo the house.

"Yo Hinowa (Its pronounced He-No-Ha) bro your back," I shout at my best friend and future Beta.

"Hey K, I was just gonna send out a search party for you," he hits my chest and say.

"Yeah right, like they could find me if I really wanted to hide," I told him as Stan walks up and says "Hey," to Hinowa.

"Ah is this one of your new Alpha
guards," he ask. Stan laughs and said, "I wish I'm his mate."

"Wow you got yourself a mate, that's the best news I've had in months," he smiles and says.

"We have a tradition in this island when the new alpha finds a mate the beta most preform the dance of the moon," he says and starts to dance and I clap my hand while he twirles and dances.

Stan came up and whispers, "is he okay." "Yeah he is just dancing to thank the moon for making me hold," I tell him.

"Cool," he says and starts to clap as well, "I thought I smell something something stink, its good to see you boy, hope you dry off soon," my mom comes out and says. "Gene leave the boy alone and mind your damn noise, you smell too much," my aunt said putting her in place.

My aunt came up and kissed me on my cheek, "baby I've missed you," and says. "Aunt Rose you know I've missed you more," I say while hugging her and lifting her off the ground.

"Boy hush now, me and Kali are cooking so go on and freshen up and you and can come down and get some food okay baby," she says as my mom looks over while she kept on drinking alcohol.

"K before you head up the Alpha wants to see you," Hinowa. I look over at Stan and said, "baby my dad needs me, so I have to go to his office, you can go to the dinner without me," I told him.

"I understand and I'll wait in our room until your back," Stan says and takes hand and gives it a good squeeze.

"Thanks, I'll be soon back," I say and run my thumb over the back of his hand reassuring him.

I let him alone and Hinowa followed me to my dads office. We knock on the door, "come in," he said.

"Alpha Bennett," I walk inside his office and say, Hinowa was right behind me in the office.

"Thank you Hinowa, can I have a minute with my son please," he says. "Sure thing Bennett, I'll be down stairs getting some of  Miss Rose and Kali's delicious food," he smiles and goes through the door.

"So I've heard you found your mate boy," my dad say as he looks at me from his desk. "Yes sir I'm official mated," I tell him.

"Good you finally did something right," dad says. "Yeah something right," I Snicker. "So we'll be holding the transfer of power ceremony," he said.

"Thank you sir," I said, "I know we haven't had the best father son relationship but I'm proud of you son," he says. "Thanks but I'm gonna head down to go eat some food," I tell him.

"Before you go the main reason I call you here is to tell you about my trip," he says. "I remember, Kali telling me about you going off the island, what was it about," I ask him.
