Chapter 14: The Plan

Clementine's eyes slowly opened, seeing that she was in Louis' room. She looked to her right when she saw that handsome face that she would never get tired of. She smiled and played with one of his dreads. Clementine's hand pulled back when she saw Louis' eyes fluttering open.

"Morning, beautiful..." He mumbled with a smirk on his face.

"Morning, idiot." Louis fake pouted.

"You do know that you could've used another nickname, right?"

"Yeah, but idiot fits you more." Clementine joked while getting up. Louis frowned at her warmth getting away from him.

"Clem..." He whined. Clementine dressed up and looked back at him with a playful smile.

"Sorry, Lou, I got stuff to do." Clementine said before kissing his forehead. "See ya."

Clementine left the room and closed the door behind her.

Clem made it outside and saw people looking at her while giggling or blushing. Gabe, on the other hand, was just looking down at the ground. Kate walks up to Clem with a menacing look on her face.

"Hope you guys had fun last night-- and one suggestion, try and keep it down next time."

A blush formed on Clementine's face. "You heard us?"

"Of course I did-- everyone heard you."

"Even... AJ?"

"Yup."

"Oh... my god..." Clementine facepalmed herself for being so stupid. Kate places a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry-- we all have to do it once in a while. You never really get to experience anything anymore in the apocalypse."

"I don't know, I guess I just wanted to forget everything for 10 minutes."

"And that's perfectly fine. Don't worry-- me and Javi have done it before."

Clementine cringes. "I did not need to know that."

Kate laughs and walks away.

A few hours later, everyone was gathering around for a meeting. It seems like they've got a plan.

"Everyone, c'mon! Hurry up!" Clementine shouted from the 'meeting table'. Once everyone finally gathered around, Clementine spoke up.

"Okay, so we all know that the raiders captured Minnie, Violet, and Omar. Now, we are going to make a plan to get them back. I know where the raiders' camp are and will lead you there. In or order for us to do that, I need you all to trust me. I know our school has gone through some 'events', but I'm trying my best to make sure that will not happen again."

Everyone nodded.

"Before we go save our friends, we need to be ready. That means we'll have to send people over there to look at it, or to teach people how to use guns. We need to be prepared for the worst. Am I clear?"

Yes' spread out through the crowd.

Clementine nods. "Dismissed."

The crowd disbands and everyone goes to do their own thing. Clementine lets out a sigh of relief and sits down at one of the picnic tables. She pinches the bridge of her nose as she tries to compose herself. Then, a hand touches her shoulder. Clementine turns around to see Gabe. (hah u thought it was Louis haha) 

Clementine scowls at him. "What do you want?" She hissed in a harsh tone. Clem wasn't the kind of person who would hold grudges so this surprised him. He scratches the back of his head.
