Clementine awoke from her bed and let out a small moan as she extended her arms widely. The sun's rays peaked through the window, reflecting onto the wooden floor. Clem had remembered last night's events when she scrunched up her nose. She quickly composed herself before grabbing her hat from the dresser and walking out the door.
20 minutes later
Clem was assigned by Javi (who is the new assistant leader) to go hunting with Gabe, AJ, and... Louis. When Clem heard this, she tried her best to be calm, when inside, she was practically dying.

The four made it onto the road, with their weapons in hand. Clementine and AJ were in the front, watching out for walkers while Gabe and Louis were completely distracted, giving each other the stink-eye.
"Gabe, Louis, you find anyth-" Clementine was about to finish her sentence until she saw them glaring at each other. "What the fuck are you two doing?" Clementine asked, obviously annoyed.
"Well, if you must know, Clem, this asshat, Gabe, had the audacity to mumble some not-so-kind things about me," Louis growled, still glaring at Gabe.
"You're the one who fucking cheated on your girlfriend!" Gabe argued, crossing his arms.
"Both of you, shut the hell up!" Clementine snapped, silencing both of them. "Why can't we just leave those problems at the school for once?!"
Clementine huffed as she turned around, facing away from them. She suppressed the urge to punch both of them in the jaw. She disliked it when people spoke about her business. Especially if they were just a stray person.
One hour later
It had been about an hour and the group had caught a total of 3 rabbits. Regarding how many people came to the school, (Javi, Kate, Luke, Gabe) it was definitely not enough. Clem was now walking beside Louis whilst AJ and Gabe were in the back. It was an awkward silence for a while until Louis said something loud enough for only Clem to hear.
"Well, this is anticlimactic." Louis joked, earning no response other than a scoff from Clementine. "Listen, I know you aren't gonna believe this, but I really am sorry. I don't know what was going through my head. I was just so mad and so desperate, that I thought the best answer would be to cheat on you."
"Well, you're right, it was fucked up."
"I know it was. But I don't want Sophie, especially about how she treated you."
"Then why did you let her treat me that way? If you loved me, you wouldn't let me be hurt."
"I guess Sophie's ways have grown on me. I thought... I thought was she said wouldn't affect you."
"Well, it did. But it hurt, even more, knowing that you let it happen... And that you would say that you loved her before we even broke up."
Tears started trickling down Clementine's face before she quickly wiped them away and turned away from Louis.
"God... Louis. You're such a fucking idiot. I-- I can't do this."
The group arrived at the school just in time before Clementine ran inside the building, leaving Louis speechless. (he really thought she was about to forgive him).

Clementine stopped by the music room that she and Louis always hung out together. No matter what he could say or do, it wouldn't change what he had said to Clem or about Clem. Clementine sat onto the piano stool and placed her slender fingers onto the keys. The piano smelled just like him. Louis had taught Clem how to play the piano, and now she could play many songs. But there was only one song that mattered to her. Explained how she was feeling.

Clementine played the last note of the note before hearing claps from the door. She darted her head in the direction only to see Louis with a nervous smile on his face. Clementine just looks at the ground once he walks towards her awkwardly.
"Mind if I sit here?" Louis asked, pointing at the piano stool. Clementine shrugged and scooted over to make room. He sat down. "Uh, your voice and playing improved."
Clementine stayed silent.
"Clem..."
Clementine turned towards Louis but didn't say anything.
"Please, talk to me."
"I... I can't, Louis! I can't do this. It's too much for me! First, you blame me, then cheat on me, then now your apologizing? It's a lot. I-- I don't even know how I feel anymore. I didn't want to admit it, but I still love you. But how am I supposed to trust you, after everything's that happened, huh? It's not that easy."
"I know. I know, and I'm sorry, okay?"
"Sorry isn't enough."
"Then what is?! I'm trying my hardest, y'know!"
"I don't know! Your hardest isn't always enough, Louis." Clementine shakes her head in disappointment. "Louis, you are an amazing person. You're funny, kind, generous. You would go into a building on fire just to save a bunch of strangers. But, when you do something wrong, you can't just expect people to always forgive you."
Louis shakes his head as he stands up. "Fuck." He mumbles. "Clem, I..." Louis turns around.
"Forget it." With that, Louis leaves the room, leaving Clem alone.
At least they finally INTERACTED. Idk how long I can keep this break-up up. And I don't know how I'm gonna get them back together :/
