Red's POV
It was morning, and I woke up after a satisfying sleep. I lay on the upper bunk, and got up, and looked around. The room didn't look like a copy of any other PokeCentre, it had an interior of it's own.
I jumped off of the top bunk onto the ground, and looked towards the lower bunk. Lyra wasn't there.
I turned my head around, only to notice that her bag wasn't there too.
I quickly picked up my bag, worry my shoes and rushed downstairs.
Bugsy sat on a couch, reading a magazine.
'Where's Lyra ?', I asked Bugsy.
Bugsy put the magazine down on the table and looked at me.
'Sprout tower, she wanted to go and pray for herself and for you', said Bugsy.
'Pray ? For what ?', I asked.
'You have a gym battle today', said Bugsy.
'Oh, almost forgot', I said. 'I'm going to the tower then, what was the name again ?'.
'Sprout tower', said Bugsy.
'Okay, you coming ?', I asked Bugsy, who picked up the magazine and began to read it.
'Um, no', said Bugsy. 'I'll read this...book'.
'Magazine', I said. 'I'm going then'.
'Okay', said Bugsy.
'By the way, you're holding it upside down', I said, while Bugsy changed the direction of the magazine.
'Um, uh, I know, I just....I was looking at these Nidorinas, they look beautiful, I love them', said Bugsy.
Bugsy was kind of a strange person. I wondered if he was a Pokemon in his previous life. His behavior was like one.
I walked outside the PokeCentre and looked for someone who could direct me to Spout Tower.
And you know how my luck works, everything works out. After walking a few meters from the PokeCentre, I was greeted by a group of students.
'See, a Pokemon Trainer', said a boy with a high pitched voice.
All the students seemed to be about seven to eight years old.
'Is that the Kanto Champion ?', asked a girl.
'I think so', said another girl.
It felt great, to be popular in almost every region. It was the greatest thing to have, ever.
The students were so surprised to see me, passing by. Then, I turned towards them.
'Where is the Spout Tower ?', I asked them.
'Sprout tower ? It's half a kilometer from here, in that direction', said a girl, pointing towards the direction. 'Hey, you're the Kanto Champion right ?'.
'Yes, I am', I replied.
'Do you think I can become a trainer like you too ?', asked the girl.
'Of course you can, maybe better', I said.
'Really ?', she asked.
'Yes. Just believe in yourself', I said.
'Okay ! I bet you, the next time we meet, I'll be a Pokemon Trainer', she said.
'And we will battle too, good luck', I said. 'You live here ? In Violet City ?'.
'Yes, but no. My home is in Kanto, I live here in my hostel', she said.
