Giovanni's POV

"Sir, there's a call for you." Cassidy walked into my office with a telephone. "This guy thinks he can say whatev-"

"Cassidy!" I calmly stopped her. "Give me the phone and leave. Also, I have an assignment for you."

Cassidy walked outside and I looked at the phone number. It belonged to a man of interest.

"Long time." I said. "You could've called on my cell, why use the Rainbow Rocket landline?"

He took a heavy breath. "You think I'm a fool? I know you've set a tracker, I guess you want to meet me. I didn't know you wanted to meet me this soon."

"Oh come on. You know that I know who you are. Deal with it and meet me."

"Trust me, you don't know anything about me. Okay, let me explain the situation here. Me, a person, who appears out of nowhere, asks you to kidnap-" He said, I interrupted.

"Ben, a scientist who was working on the Master Ball, a Pokeball having a hundred percent catch rate." I said. "Then you asked me to send him back to the-"

"Shut. No spoilers." He said. "Okay tell me, who am I?"

"Stick to the plan we made. We didn't create Team Rocket for fun A-"

"What?" He said. "Okay now, this is new. I thought you were the only person who created Team Rocket. Who else?"

"This isn't happening." I said. I gave away too much. I thought he was- ugh, how can I be this stupid? Whoever this man is, who's been helping me, if he wasn't who I thought he was. Then who is he?

"Giovanni." He said in a happy tone. "You have someone else too, right? Helping you. That's the reason police can never catch you."

"No!"

"Oh you do. Your foolishness gave it away." Said the mysterious man. Whoever he was, he was smart, I had to find him.

"You can't control me anymore. I'll go on with the plan I made."

"You don't want my help?" He asked. "Oh. That's sad. You know you won't survive like that."

"I know you want something out of it, I just don't know what it is." I was about to hang up the call.

"Trust me, you'll see me soon. And you won't be able to do anything. This- this is gonna be fun."He said, in a serious yet sarcastic tone.

"When?" I asked. He disconnected the call. "When?" I shouted, throwing the phone on the table.

I punched the table in anger. My every breath fought it's way out of my nose. I quickly browsed through my computer and looked at an image.

An image taken from the surveillance camera on August 7, 2013. Red, standing along with a girl named Lyra. He held the GS Ball. I had to put some pieces together, how did he even manage to get that?

I knew one thing, it didn't belong to him. He had all six Pokeballs attached to his belt, suggesting he was a trainer, but he started his journey the next day this picture was taken so he had to be from the future.
