Red's POV
"Wartortle! Use Protect." Wartortle tried to stay still, he had a critical health. Even though he had a type advantage, Sudowoodo proved his smartness by using only grass-type moves.
Sudowoodo used wood hammer. Wartortle's protect saved him, but for how long? I had no other Pokemon to be able to battle and win against Sudowoodo's type and move set.
Please stop recommending Charizard, I have other Pokemon to train too. Pikachu was 20 levels ahead of Charmander when I started my journey. Now, it's the opposite. Charizard has grown so much.
"Wartortle, use Water Pulse!" Wartortle sent out ultrasonic water waves, the waves hit Sudowoodo. Sudowoodo fell to the ground, weakened by the attack.
Sudowoodo managed to got up and attacked with it's full potential. It used wood hammer. Wartortle was heavily damaged. He fainted.
"Wartortle, you did great." I said, calling him back inside his Pokeball. "Go Espeon."
Sudowoodo used wood hammer. I looked at Espeon, he didn't seem worried at all. Eevee used to be worried while battling but now, I couldn't see any similarities as if his nature had been whitewashed.
I slipped the Pokedex out of my pocket and pointed at Espeon, reading his attacks. Well, stupid of me they were obviously the same except for a new Psychic attack.
"Espeon, use Psychic." Sudowoodo kept both the branches or hands on his head. He felt pain, not only physical but also mental pain. I could tell that easily. "Stop! Espeon, stop."
Sudowoodo fell to the ground.
Espeon's POV
I was worried, my Psychic attack triggered an old memory of Sudowoodo. I had no way to know what it was, but he sure looked miserable. As he fell to the ground, unconscious. I rushed for his aid, even though I was supposed to battle but no, he was hurt.
"Sudowoodo!" I shouted, hoping he'd wake up. Red jogged forward, taking out a revive spray from his pocket.
"I know it's not allowed on wild pokemon, but I don't wanna catch a Pokemon like this." He sprayed revive on Sudowoodo. "And where the hell is Lyra?"
Sudowoodo started breathing super fast and opened his eyes. These sprays are harmful though, I'm glad Red is a food trainer who doesn't torcher his Pokemon by using those frigging sprays.
And I know, the Cinemasins guy would be saying - 'what in the world did he just do right now?'. Yeah that was because he can't take Sudowoodo to the Pokecentre by carrying it in his arms.
"Come on, let's get you to the Pokecentre." Red tried to pull Sudowoodo back up, but he was too heavy for the ten year old.
"How did you do that?" Asked Sudowoodo. "
"How did I do what?" I asked.
Sudowoodo took a deep breath. "You- you gave me a flashback. It was so real. It- how did you-"
"I just used the attack." I said. "What did you see?"
"My trainer." He said.
"Wait, you're saying that you already have a trainer? So you're not wild?"
