Leaf's POV
"Lucas, we've been following these two for a while now. Can you please explain why we are doing this?" Barry was afraid and this kind of behavior was unusual only because he was one of the bravest person I've ever met.
Lucas eavesdropped two grunts of a criminal organisation, going by the name Galactic. No, they had nothing to do with space but everything they did was unusual.
"I'm curious, they do the weirdest stuff and I wanna know why." Lucas continued listening to their conversation.
Yesterday, Lucas and I won the Cobble badge from Maylene, Veilstone City Gym leader who specialises in fighting types. Barry had no interest in battling her, the reason was that it was Tuesday and he believes it's unlucky for him.
Today, when we left the PokeCentre in the morning, since then, Lucas is dragging us along just because he is curious of Team Galactic's goals and what they are trying to achieve by taking over a windmill or a public fishing area.
"You know, you shouldn't be worrying about Galactic, it's the worst criminal organisation, I don't even know why they call themselves criminals." I complained. "Criminal organisations are supposed to take over a billion dollar company's headquarters instead of windmills in the countryside."
"That's the reason for my suspicion." Lucas made an instant eye contact. He was serious, what if Galactic was actually upto something.
"I don't like this!" Exclaimed Barry. "Let's stop following these rabbit costumes."
"I can't believe this. I don't believe this." Lucas freaked out, still peeking. Barry and I had no clue what Lucas had just seen, nor were we interested.
"What?" Asked Barry, casually. "Did they remove their hoodies and you finally realised that they have a head?"
"Team Rocket!" Said Lucas, his legs started shaking. "Team Rocket is here."
I couldn't believe what Lucas had said until I'd seen it with my own eyes. It was Team Rocket, two grunts, the same ones.
"They removed their Galactic costumes and were wearing those under them." Said Lucas, looking at Barry.
"So, are they Team Rocket grunts or Team Galactic grunts." I asked.
"Only one way to find out." Said Barry, walking towards them. Lucas pulled him back.
"What are you? Crazy?" Lucas stared right into his eye in anger.
"Dude, I'm not intimidated." Barry pushed him slightly.
Lucas ignored and peeked again. We had a plus point, the tree we were hiding behind was large and had a wide trunk.
I looked at the two grunts. They seemed to be waiting for someone, and the someone arrived. It was a man in a brown suit, holding a briefcase.
"I know you're trying to help and you'll get what I promised. But for now, do what I asked you to, and stop wearing your Team Rocket uniform. People in Sinnoh are not used to these so they will take both of you in suspicion." Explained the man to the grunts.
"Looker, I know what you're saying, and we will. But these people are just obeying orders, regular Galactics don't know what they're doing or why they're doing it." Said one of the grunts.
