Glass shattered as he'd thrown a lamp against the wall. "Jaxon" I warned but he kept pacing "You're scaring me" I said. And finally he looked at me.
He'd came over to my house a little over ten minutes ago freaking out. He wouldn't tell me what was going on, just that Axel had pissed him off and he wasn't going to 'be his bitch' any longer.
When I first started seeing Jaxon, he was guarded. He didn't open up to me or ever want to talk about himself. I realized his wall had broken down with his next words
"C-can I stay here?" His voice cracking was enough to melt my heart. I nodded and he pulled me into a hug. Tucking his head into my neck I could hear his rigid breaths
"Promise you'll never let me go" He was practically begging me.
"I promise" I told him, although I was unsure where this was coming from.
We laid in my bed, watching Man vs Food. It's jaxons favorite show.
About an hour into the second episode I started to drift off, I'd been up late last night studying for the test tomorrow.
That's when I heard it. It was very faint, almost as if he didn't mean to say it out loud
"I love you"
