CARSON'S POV

"I'm starting to get really tired of her bullshit," I hear Moose swear behind me as I lay Alaina down on the broken bench swing before turning around to see him staring at the burning house.

"She caught the whole damn thing on fire!" He shouts angrily, thrusting his arms out. "She broke your damn circle and caught the house on fire!"

"It's was crumbling anyways," I say as I shake my head.

"How did she do it?!" He spins around to face me and I meet his completely confused expression. "I mean, seriously, Carson! How?!"

I shrug my shoulders and turn away from him, "I must've left the circle open and the fire escaped. Just be appreciative that you're alive." I focus on Alaina again and move the hair out of her face, and I notice the dry blood around her nose.

"Let's move her down by the river since we're already out here," he suggests and I look over at him.

"You do that," I mumble as I pull myself up to stand and he furrows his brows at me.

"And what are you going to do?" He asks, taking a step toward me.

"Well, seeing that all of my stuff was just burnt to a crisp," I gesture to the still burning house, "I have to go find some replacements."

"On your own?!" He nearly shouts and I turn to him with narrowed eyes.

I cross my arms over my chest, ready to tell him that I'm a big girl and that I can do everything on my own, but when I catch his eyes flickering down to my chest before meeting my eyes again I feel my cheeks turn bright red. Knowing that my shirt is a v-neck, I also know that he can see the crease of my breasts.

"Pervert!" I shout, my head jerking to the side and I hear one of his bones break but I don't know which one.

I spin around with a heavy breath, "Do not harm a hair on her head or I will make you regret it!" I state angrily before I begin stomping off.

"Carson!" He screams as I walk around the house and towards the narrow, gravel road that leads to where I parked my car. I turn back around to see the flames spreading over the house and I already know that I'll be in for it later. But I couldn't care less at the moment.

After staring the flames out of existence, I turn around and begin walking down the path to my car. As I climb into the front seat I pull on the jacket that's in the passenger seat and instantly rev the engine.

NOAH'S POV

"What are we going to do?" Gabby voices aloud as she sits on the counter. I grip my hands tightly in my lap as I stare at the map, my eyes focused on the end of the line.

"We can't just barge in there unprepared. The witch would rip us in half." Ax mutters and rubs the side of his head as he walks over to sit down on the stairs.

"Gomez," Liam sighs and turns to his sister, who is still with us and is sitting with Eliza and the dining table. "What do you suggest we do?"

She looks over at him and her face contorts as she stares at him. "I...I don't know what to tell you all," she states and shakes her head.

"Yeah, 'cause that fucking helps," I snort and all five of them turn to me.

"Noah," Gabby sighs and gives me a stern look.

I laugh while shrugging, grabbing Alaina's jacket off the table and swinging it up into the air. "What?" I spit. "It's a full moon!" I shout suddenly, causing Gabby to jerk. "You're going to fucking shift," I quickly turn around to Ax and point at him, "you too!"
