Josephine's P.O.V:
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be normal but then I think "Who the heck defines normal and why would I want it?" My life is pretty freaking awesome, if a little hectic and....interesting.
I look at the clock. 8:00. Huh, that's odd. Wait a minute...
"BROOKE! YOU DIDN'T WAKE ME UP!!" I scream. So this is her revenge. I should have known better than to hide her bra...s. It's not like I hid them where our neighbors could see them or anything, they were just up in the tree. A little climbing never hurt anyone.
Back to the problem at hand. 10 minutes. I have ten minutes to get an outfit, eat, and deal with the mane that I pass for hair. I grab my favorite pair of jeans, throw on a green shirt. One look in the mirror tells me that I won't be able to tame my frizzy red hair in the short amount of time I have so I just run a brush through it and run downstairs.
"Oh no. Not going to happen my dear sister," Brooke says when she looks at my shirt.
"Oh my gosh, are you kidding me?" We're wearing the same color, which apparently is a huge no no.
"I can't change now!"
"Oh you can and you will. Now go."
"I'm older"
"Don't pull that card on me. I got changed first."
"I have the car."
"I wake you up. Plus I don't need the car, I have my beautiful baby." The baby she is referring to is the gorgeous black ninja motorcycle that she got when we turned 17. 1) yes it really is called a ninja bike and 2) I did just say we. Brooke and I are twins. Even though I am the older one, in the morning I might as well be a five year old. I am not a morning person.
Brooke is in charge of making sure that I get up and don't miss the first bell. She seems to think that one harmless little prank relieves her of this very important duty. I ran upstairs so that I could escape her wrath. I'm not afraid of her but she could pull this on me again tomorrow if I upset her and I'd rather not relive this oh so wonderful experience.
With a purple shirt on to placate my sister, I run down the stairs again.
"Oooh muffin," I say as I grab one and jog out to my car, a blue green Ford Edge. A very pretty and practical car but oh what I wouldn't give to get my hands on a nice corvette.
I walk to the drivers side and speak as I'm backing out of the driveway.
"I thought you were going to make a point by going to school on your bike."
"I made a point to say I had it because that means I have a back-up ride in case you leave me or something, but its October and I don't feel like freezing on my way to school."
"Sure sure, whatever sis." I say as I shake my head at her.
I pulled into the parking lot and parked my car. Brooke begins walking away as I gather all of my stuff and run to catch up with her. We walk through the doors to our prison and walk to our lockers to meet up with our friends.
