Josie's P.O.V.:

We're not ready. They're earlier than we expected. I wanted at least a few more hours. I can only pray that we understand the plans enough to pull them off. There are hundreds of sups from all around the world here to help us take down the hunters once and for all.

I took a deep breath and looked at my sister one last time before we split up. "See you when this is all over sis. Promise me." She nodded.

"I promise Josie, be safe." Then she went off to meet up with her team. They are going to act as snipers, watching everyone's back and acting as the last line of defense between the hunters and our town. A couple of other shifters and I are going to fly over the fight to figure out the hunter's strategy and relay it to everyone else before joining in.

I have never been so stressed in my entire life.

Another deep breath and silent pep talk later, I was ready to face my team. I raced down the stairs and out the door before shifting into a sparrow and flying to the closest hotel, where I was going to meet up with them. They were standing in the parking lot when I arrived and shifted in front of them.

"Are we ready?" I asked. Faces were grim, but their eyes were hard and held a determined glint.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"Let's go kick some hunter butt." I nodded at them, not feeling the need to go over the plan again-our part was pretty simple- and shifted back into a sparrow, the rest of them also changing into various types of common birds so that we wouldn't draw attention to ourselves as we flew over.

It only took a couple minutes of flying to find the hunters. There were hundreds of them, all holding various guns and swords or bottles filled with strange liquids. Potions! They have witches! I sent to my sister.

Good to know now focus, Josie. I huff but continue my scan. It seems like they don't really have a plan of attack. It's like they just showed up and and now they're going to be sent on a rampage through our pretty little town.

Landon P.O.V.:

Everyone is scrambling to get to their jobs, whether they're in Josie group-who are scouting for a big portion of the fight-, Brooke's group that's the gun group for last defense, Logan's for healing, or in the the big group that will be fighting on the ground.

I walk to the group that I was assigned to, my group will be doing hand-to-hand combat since we don't change. I grab a few different types of knives and strap them to my legs and my belt, also grabbing a sword.

"Um, excuse me, sir, will you please tell me whats going on here." I hear from behind me.

Turning around I see Mary standing behind a guy that is strapping on weapons. The guy doesn't seem to hear her and keeps working. She stands there for a second before sighing and looking around, her eyes lock with mine but quickly looks away. I feel a stab of hurt go through me. She keeps looking around, she stops for a second then starts walking in the direction. I look to where she could be heading and see Brooke talking fast to a group of people and pointing to her left. I make a split decision and jog over to Mary, stopping her before she can interrupt Brooke. She gives me a dirty look and tries to step around me but I stepped in front of her again.

"Move, Landon, I need to talk to Brooke," she says putting a hand on her hip.

"Uh uh. You can talk me but not Brooke," I say shaking my head.

"And why not?"

"Because she's trying to keep as much order to this mess as possible."

"Yeah and what is going on here?"

"Ummm... you know I don't think it's best if I tell you right now," I say looking behind her as everyone started getting their positions. "In fact you should get your things, go home, lock all your doors and windows, and don't come out." I grab her wrist and stat dragging her to the house and, then, to the front door, Mary fighting the whole way.

"Let go of me!" Mary yells and yanks her wrist out of my grip. "I'm not going anywhere till you tell me what's going on her."

"Listen to me, Mary, now is not the time. You need to get home," I say placing my hand on her shoulders.

"Landon, come on we need your team to leave now!" Brooke yells through the house.

"I'm coming!" I look back at Mary and push her out the door. "Go." I run out the back door and to my group that's waiting on the edge of the forest.
