Chapter 15

Josephine's P.O.V:

Surprisingly, the rest of the movie went without incident. No more pranks were discovered but that wasn't comforting because I know that the ball has to drop sometime.

Brooke got up and announced that she was going to take a quick shower while the rest of us got ready for bed. She walks up the stairs and Nyssa looks at me.

"What did you do, Josephine?"

"I may or may not have put a jolly rancher in the shower head to dye Brooke's hair..."

"Nooo, you didn't." I laugh and listen to Brooke turn on the water upstairs.

"The best part in that it takes a few minutes for it to start really melting so she won't realize it until it's too late."

The rest of us start playing board games. Eli and Landon are dominating on the game of Life when we hear a scream.

"NOOOO! JOSIE!"

"HAHA I WIN!" I yell back at her. Five minutes later Brooke comes down in her pajamas, her hair dyed a light shade of violet. Huh, that's darker than I thought it would be.

"Really? How did you manage to do that? And what was with the creepy message on the mirror."

"It was a jolly rancher," I say with a smile. "A purple jolly rancher took out the defending prank wars champion." Brooke scowls and we go back to the board game.

3 hours later

Everyone is falling asleep on the floor. I grab Brooke and Luna, the two most alert out of the group and we begin to drag Eli up the stairs. We weren't going to at first, but he wouldn't wake up for us. It was decided that if he wasn't going to help, he deserved the concussion that was soon to follow.

"Ready?" I ask the other girls

"Absolutely," they both replied. Thonk. Thonk. Thonk

"Ow ow ow. WOULD YOU STOP IT!" Eli yells.

"Aww look. Sleeping Beauty is awake," Luna says. Thonk.

"Gah I'm done," he says and pulls his feet free from our grasp. Unfortunately for him, that was the only thing keeping him from going down, and when Brooke jumped out of the way he was free to fall all the way back down the stairs. The good thing was that this whole debacle woke up the others and they all walked up the stairs and climbed into their beds.

Morning

It's 11:30 in the morning, both Asher and Regina are gone, but everyone else is still here. The remaining 11 of us are downstairs, cooking various dishes. Pretty soon, there are pancakes, eggs, omelets, and french toast on the counter. Bacon and sausage can be smelled from a block away-we know this because Logan went running earlier and told us when he got back.

When everyone has as much food as they can possibly fit on their plate, we all file into the living room and sit down. I take stock of the people in the room and a deep breath.

"Soo, we have a new member in our group." Heads swivel around to look at me, all other conversation had been terminated.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jordi asks. Violet tells the story of her little slip up in front of Landon. Jordi face palms.

"Less than a week we've known him and you slipped up," she says disappointed.

"Well I think it's good," Blair cuts in. "Now we don't have to hid it from him. And no more stupid hints." Landon looks around.

"So you all have a power than?"

"Not us," David says, pointing to himself and Jordi. The rest of us explain all of the powers we have.

"Now we've told you about us. Tell us about you," Blair says impatiently.

"Me? Whaaa-"

"Don't lie, we know you've got something too."

"I think I have a little bit of everything..."

"Awesome. Maybe we'll test you."

We all joked around for a while before everyone went their separate ways to get ready for the barbecue at Landon's house tonight.
