Chapter 20

Side: Tell Her You Love Her by Echosmith & Picture of Eli

Josephine's P.O.V:

Asher is looking down at Brooke sleeping on his shoulder. We just finished the movie and he hasn't figure out if he should move her or let her be. Personally I'd leave her. She's not always the nicest person when you wake her up. He must have made his decision because he scoots down into the couch more and gets comfortable. I smile then walk upstairs.

Eli's P.O.V:

I watched the movie but I couldn't help but think about what the twins had said about soulmates. I've know for more than a year who mine is but she hasn't made any indication that she feels the same thing. True love. Sounds like something that's in movies but I know its true. When will she realize it too? Maybe I should talk to Logan. He could probably help me.

The next morning

I wake up at the same time as Logan and Luna and we all go on a run together, making it back just in time for breakfast. Asher still looks a little freaked out but seems to be taking the news pretty well. I give him a reassuring smile and he gives me one back. I look over to the griddle where Josie is flipping pancakes and talking to Blair. She laughs and I smile to myself. She's so beautiful. I look over to see Brooke staring at me. Uh oh. Before I can ask her what's up I see Logan walking over and I grab him. I pull him into the living room, which happens to be empty at the moment.

"How did you tell Jordi?"

"What?" Logan asks confused.

"How did you tell Jordi you were soulmates?"

"Oh. Well I had known her for quite a while before I knew and then waited until I knew she trusted me completely. I mean she's human and she didn't understand anything so I had to be careful. I had to tell her about all the supernaturals and soulmates in the same day. I was lucky that Jordi is an incredible person otherwise I might have gotten locked up in an insane asylum."

"I get that but how did you bring it up," I ask getting a little frustrated. Logan smirks at me. "You found your soulmate didn't you" but it isn't a question. I nod.

"Honestly I can't tell you how I did it because I don't know. Does she know about supernaturals already?" I nod again. "Then it's already so much easier."

"What if she doesn't want me though?"

"Just trust your instincts and take a leap of faith. Good luck my friend." And Logan walked away.

Crap.

Asher's P.O.V

I walk over to Eli in the living room. He looks even more confused than I feel.

"What's up dude?"

"Oh nothing, just sulking from all the information that Logan gave me that doesn't help."

"On what?"

"Girls," he said dejectedly.

"Shouldn't you ask a girl than?"

"Maybe but girls talk to each and I don't want the one I'm asking about to know. Wait.... that would make it so much easier then!"

"Yeah umm whatever you're asking about, you probably don't want her to find out through another person."

"Darn. I guess I could still ask Brooke to help though."

"I'll help you."

"Thanks buddy." With that I grabbed Eli and went to find Brooke.

"BROOKE!! Eli has girl problems and you might be able to help him." Eli face palms, his face bright red. He shoves me.

"Not cool man," he complains. I smile and turn back to Brooke.

"So can you help him?"

"I don't know. What exactly does he need help with?" I look at Eli. What does he need help with?

"I umm found my soulmate awhile ago but I'm not sure if she feels the same way." He stops. Brooke looks like she's fangirling. She starts pumping her fists up and down.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes!!!" Eli's eyes widen.

"You knew?"

"Of course I did I'm her sister." Now it's my turn for my eyes to widen.

"Her sister!" They both turn to me.

"Yes," they say at the same time. Wha... wait they would make a cute couple.

"When are you going to tell her?" Brooke asks.

"That's the problem. I don't know how. Do you know if she likes me or not?"

"I'm her sister. Of course I do."

"Sooo...."

"I'm not telling you. That would make it too easy. You're just going to have to find out yourself."

"Brooke! Please!"

"No can do my friend." Eli looked at her for a long time before turning around and walking out of the room.

"So your sister and Eli..."

"Yep. Isn't it awesome. Lucky her. He knows about her," she sighs wistfully.

"Wait a second. If you knew that Eli was Josephine's soulmate doesn't that mean that she told you? Meaning she already likes him?"

"Well I could just be very observant..."

"But she told you didn't she." It's a statement, not a question. She smiles at me.

"If only Eli had put that together."

"What about your soulmate? Does he know?"

"Ha! No. Now come on we have to see if Eli has talked to her."
