Josephine's P.O.V

I'm washing the dishes when Eli slides up to me and starts helping. We work in silence for a while before Eli starts talking.

"Soo I was just talking to Brooke," he says awkwardly.

"Good for you. Did you learn to talk to Blair too?"

"Oh stop it I wasn't finished." I laugh. "Anyway, I was talking to her about this girl I like."

"Uh huh. And now you want my advice?"

"That might help yes." I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. What do you need help with?" He puts a hand over his heart, feigning hurt.

"I don't need help with anything."

"Ok then," I put the last of the dishes away. "I'll just be going."

"No wait! What's your ideal date?" Really?

"I don't know, maybe going to the park and talking, then dinner?"

"With who?"

"My soulmate," I say simply.

"Do you know who he is?"

"Why do you want to know?" I ask suspiciously

"Curiosity."

"I guess when we told Asher everything it made everyone else more curious" I murmur to myself. I look up at him and answer "yes," before turning around at the sound of the doorbell.

"Hi Josie, I was wondering if you could watch the kids for a few hours. I hate to ask with no warning but something came up at work."

"Yeah we can do it and everyone in the house knows now so do you want a few of us to continue with Ty's lessons?" The look she gave me was all the answer I needed.

"Thank you so much."

"No problem." I ushered Ty and Natalie inside and yelled for Violet, Logan, and Brooke.

"What's up." Brooke says walking into the living room with Asher following her.

"We're watching Natalie and Ty for a few hours. I figured we will continue with Ty's lessons."

"You guys didn't say anything about other people in this town being supernatural." Asher says.

"It's not our right to tell you."

"Ok. So what's Ty?"

"He can read minds and he's telekinetic." Brooke says.

"How are you teaching him if none of you can read minds?" Brooke shrugs.

"Let's get this show on the road." Violet says. "Ready Ty?" He nods his head. "I want you to focus on Brooke's thoughts." Brooke pales.

"Umm how about Violet," she suggests but it's too late.

"Ok Ty, what's she thinking about?" Asher asks curiously. Ty opens his eyes.

"That's some private thoughts there Brooke. Don't worry I won't tell, but you won't be able to keep that inside forever."

"Awwww, there's my wise little Ty," I cry. "Here I'm ready, you can do me."

"Ok. Purple, puppies, blue, soul mates, school, homework, books, music, wolves, snow leopards. How's that?"

"Good, but maybe you should try to pick one and go into more detail, explain why I'm thinking about it. I'm going to try and throw you off but you have to focus."

"Got it. You have a whole bunch of English homework on The Scarlet Letter but you've been to busy to finish it. There's a presentation that you need to do on it in four days and you haven't started it yet....why do you keep thinking about pizza?"

"I told you I would try to throw you off." We spent the next half hour listening as Ty read any willing volunteers mind, then we moved on to telekinesis. It was pretty funny watching Violet throw things at him while he tried to dodge and do counter-attacks. The both of them got nailed countless times. It's sort of scary how good the kid is with his powers already.

When Ty and I are alone, he asks me if I know about Brooke's soul mate.

"Of course I do, I'm her sister. Why do you ask."

"Well she was debating telling him and I was just curious if you knew who it was."

"Do you know who it is Ty?"

"Not for sure, she never mentioned his name, but I think I have a pretty good idea." He whispers his guess to me.

"You're right, but don't tell anyone. If Brooke hasn't said anything, she doesn't want anyone to know."

"Just like you don't want anyone to know about Eli?"

"Grrr I thought I kept that out of reach," I growl, exasperated with myself.

"It was hard to find but I was curious." I shake my head.

"Please don't say anything, I don't think he knows."

"You got it." I ruffle his hair and we go inside to find Chinese food spread out across the table. Mmmm.
