Eli's P.O.V

I hate that Keiran is in the next room. It's going to take more than one night for me to trust him, but Josie looks so worn out right now that I don't have the heart to argue about it with her. Her eyes are already closed and her red hair is fanned out across the pillow. I'm moving to tuck her in when she speaks up.

"I'm sorry that I never talked to you about it,"she says quietly. She doesn't elaborate, but she doesn't have to. I know what she's talking about. "I'm kinda glad that Keiran brought it up, because I know I'd never have been able to say it myself," She continued.

"I guess that makes two of us." She smiles softly then laughs quietly.

"The only reason I've brought it up now is because I'm so tired that I've lost the filter between my brain and my mouth." She yawns. "I hope you don't hold this against me when I wake up." And then she relaxed and I knew she had fallen asleep.

I tucked her in like I meant to earlier then sat down to think. She knew all along. But she didn't want to be rejected. How long had she said she knew? Three years? How did she keep that a secret for so long? I've thought we were soulmates for half of that time and I felt like I was going to explode. She shared the burden with her sister though, so maybe she had a bit more help than I did. I smile at the thought and go to relax when I remember Keiran in the guest room.

Groaning, I climb up off the floor before slowly opening the door and going into his room. He looks up when I walk in.

"I was wondering how long it would be before you came to talk to me." I narrow my eyes and he gives me a small smile. "Why do you hate me? Everyone else is at least giving me a chance but you can't even look at me. Why is it that your girlfriend is the first to trust me yet you can't trust her judgement enough to follow her example?"

"You're a hunter-"

"I've already explained that-"

"Shut up! Why don't you explain how you can justify nearly killing Luna and Greyson? It would have been three against one! You could have taken her out but instead you distracted Luna so that Regina could beat the crap out of Greyson! Whatever's going on, you're not being honest and I'm not going to trust you until I know." I turn to leave when Keiran calls out my name.

"You're right. One reason is that I'm a sup ad I want to help Brooklyn and Josephine. The other one is because my soulmate is here." He said the last part quietly, looking down at the floor.

"Who is it?" I ask, truly curious.

"I'd rather not say."

"Then I don't believe you." He raises his eyebrows at this.

"So you didn't have to tell anybody about you and Josephine but I have to tell you about me and my soulmate?" I look down shamefully. I know he told me the truth but I don't want someone so questionable so close to Josie.

With one last look at Keiran I quietly apologize, turn around, and return to Josie's room. She's still fast asleep and I smile again, laying down next to her and tucking her against my chest before joining her in dreamland.

Josie's P.O.V:

I woke up feeling extremely comfortable. And hot. What the heck was on me? I opened my eyes and saw an arm in front of my face, slowly following it until I had to turn around, and was greeted by a face.

"Eli!" I screeched, shocked that he was holding me. Until I remember what I said last night. "Ugh! Oh god."

"Would you please be quiet it's only...8:30," he complained looking at the clock. So I layed there, with my arms crossed, pouting. "Mmm that's better." I growled a little, then tried to push him off again. Key word:tried. He's so much heavier than I thought!

What was that my dear sister? Oh crap! No! She can't see this, she'll make fun of me!

"Oh look Asher! They're cuddling! It's so adorable!" I heard a snap, and looked over Eli's shoulder to see Brooke holding her phone.

"Great picture Brooke, that's one for the scrapbook,"Asher said, smiling. Gosh those two are meant for each other.

"Would you two please get out," Eli groaned. That's it. I flipped around, facing Eli, then I poked him in the side, right in his most ticklish spot. His eyes opened wide and his arms loosened around me. Thank god!

"Thanks for that," I say smiling as I slide out of his arms and put my feet on the floor. "So what are we doing today," I ask, glancing back at Eli, who has once again closed his eyes. "Dude wake up!" I yell, then splash a large amount of water on his face. He gasps and sputters while Brooke and Asher laugh, and I glare.

"Ok Ok," Brooke soothes, still laughing a little. "Come downstairs and we'll talk about everything when everyone gets here." I groan but comply. I'm skipping to my closet when I realize there were still eyes in the room.

"Eli...what are you still doing in here?" I turned slowly.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I'll...just be going now," he said awkwardly, his face turning a very bright shade of red. It was almost cute, except for that the fact that it was because I almost changed in front of him. I shook my head. Eli hung his head as he opened the door and walked out.

I reach into my closet and grab my favorite shirt and a pair of yoga pants. When I'm comfortable, I walk down the stairs. Or try to.

"Logan! What are you doing?!"

"Asher move it!"

"Max, call everyone."

"What were you thinking?"

"Get off of me!"

"I'm busy, stay away!"

"You all have a job to do so why are you just standing around?"

"GET OUT OF MY KITCHEN OR SO HELP ME!" I yell. Too many people too early in the morning. It's bad enough that they all have to be yelling, but getting in between me and my food? A deadly mistake.

The voices quiet a little bit, and I am able to finally hear my own thoughts again. I glance at Brooke.

"So what's the plan?"

"Well, if you could understand any of what we were saying moments ago, you'd learn that we've decided to call in as many sups as we can," Brooke answers. I send her a questioning look. How in the world are we going to do that?

"We've got Keiran calling a whole bunch of his sup contacts and Max is telling his parents what's going on. They can get something together I'm sure." I nod. So I guess we just wait now. That's so nonproductive. I sigh, then move into the living room to sit down with my bowl of cereal. Eli follows me, as do Brooke and Asher. I glance between the three of them. Something is up...

"So Brooke how did you sleep?" I ask, suspicious. She blushes a little. "You hypocrite! How come I'm not allowed to make fun of you and Asher?"

"It's not the same," she replied indignantly. Whatever. I gave her a long look before shifting my attention to the T.V. We sat there for almost three hours before the phone started to ring. For the next four hours, all of us worked to answer all of the calls regarding the upcoming conflict. It was exhausting to say the least. I told the same story over and over, until I'm positive that I'll be dreaming those words for the next two months.

At the end of the day we had over 300 supernaturals all willing to help us, not including all the ones from Max's town, and those were only the ones that called today; I'm sure there will be more tomorrow. Some would be coming out while others would continue to spread the word and send other weapons.

Sadly, the dance has been to the back of all our minds and I'm not even sure we'll still get to go. Bummer. I was really looking forward to tomorrow and now we're going to be preparing for a war instead.
