Landon's P.O.V:
When we were over at Max's house I realized how much I don't know about the twins and their group. Or the supernatural world in general. Both my parents are supernaturals, but they're not the same as me and we really don't talk about it. I've pretty much been left in the dark my entire life and these last few days have left me stunned.
There are so many different supernaturals and the hunters are a bigger threat than I ever knew. Honestly my parents must have tried very hard to keep me sheltered from this part of my world because you'd think with all the moving around we do I'd have heard something. But nooooo let's just make Landon find everything out the hard way. Figures.
"Hey Landon are you ok?" I look up at my name, meeting Josie's eyes in the mirror.
"Why do you ask?"
"Oh no reason, you were just beating your head against the seat repeatedly. No big deal," she replies sarcastically, a smirk twisting on her lips. I roll my eyes. Eli and the rest of the gang that could squeeze into the car start talking, making fun of each other for the stupid things they do. Their conversation is extremely entertaining but I just can't stay focused, my mind keeps wandering back to its previous train of thought.
I wonder why my parents are letting me find out about this all of the sudden since it's pretty obvious they could have just kept it away from me again...my parents...
"Hey Josie?"
"What's up thinker?" What? I look at the position I had just been sitting in. Oh.
"Where are your parents?" I just realized that I really haven't seen her parents anywhere besides the barbecue. I'd think that they'd show up at least a little bit more since their daughters are apparently the leaders of a whole bunch of supernaturals and tend to find trouble.
"They normally work pretty late. Plus they trust us enough not to get into too much trouble," she replies. I raise my eyebrows.
"Do they know what you and your sister do in your free time?"
"Haha umm...no. They know that we hang out with a bunch of other supernaturals but they'd probably ground us until we were old and crinkly if they knew the rest." Oh joy.
"So if they found out..."
"Old and crinkly," she repeated.
Ten minutes later, we reached the restaurant - Hacienda's yes! - and were lead to our seats by the hostess. Our waitress walked up to take our orders. She looked familiar, but I couldn't place where I knew her from. Until I heard a voice behind me.
"Ugh Mary! Come ON, what's taking so long?" the voice asked from the table behind me. I narrowed my eyes.
"Sorry sis, give me one second." Shannon huffed behind me and I had the overwhelming urge to pummel her. Brooke turns to look at Mary.
"Long time no see old friend. I see your sister hasn't learned her lesson from last time." Mary smiles and shakes her head, then leans forward.
"This time I plan on hiding some hot sauce and chili peppers in her burrito. See how attractive she looks when she's drowning herself in every drink she can get her hands on," Mary smirked triumphantly.
"You go girl!" Blair practically shouted, making the restaurant quiet. "Oops."
Mary walks away with our order and a plan for revenge on her evil sister. Apparently the twins and Mary were very good friends when they were younger, but haven't gotten to spend much time together lately. I swear these girls have connections everywhere. Mary has worked here since she turned 16 and put all kinds of things into Shannon's food when she pissed her off. Mary may be a year younger but she's years smarter than Shannon will ever be.
"Finally!" Shannon snarls at her sister, as a burrito is set in front of her. I'm honestly surprised that she eats anything at all. Mary glances over at us with a small smile on her face then walks away. Every single person in our group is silent as we watch Shannon take a bite of her food.
"PFFFFFT!" And suddenly there's half-chewed food spewed all over her table. And every single person on my side of the table. "MARY!"
"SHANNON!" Blair and Luna yell together. Brooke and Josie are trying not to laugh at their friends and the spectacle that Shannon is making of herself, spilling water and soda down her shirt in an effort to stop the burning. Her sister must really despise her to put so much in.
Mary comes out of the kitchen holding some of our food, but falls to the ground when Shannon slides out her foot and trips her. THE FOOD! Oh no she didn't.
The food hits the ground and plates shatter. Heads turn as Mary pulls herself off the floor and dusts herself off.
"What was that for miss?" she asks politely. The look on Shannon's face. Priceless. Nobody here knows that they're sisters. "You just made me ruin that groups order. Do you have an explanation?" Shannon's true colors are quickly revealed to the crowd when she leans down and grabs a handful of food off of the ground then promptly flings it at our table. It hits an already angry Blair smack in the face. If looks could kill Shannon would be six feet under.
The situation quickly got out of hand when a little kid saw the food being thrown and threw his own. What had started out as a serving of revenge ended up starting the biggest food fight that this restaurant has ever seen. There were even teams, though many quickly allied when they figured out that they hated Shannon.
"WHAT HAPPENED!" a voice suddenly boomed out. The flying food showed no mercy and the man to whom the voice was owned by was pelted with it before anyone could stop it. His face turned red as he turned in the direction that the food had come from. Shannon's eyes widened when he saw her outstretched hand. "YOU STARTED THIS! YOU'RE GOING TO END IT!"
1 hour later
My family and I have finally gotten home after "eating" with the gang. Shannon had to stay at the restaurant to clean up the mess she made while we walked away. The manager had let us go with a warning after deeming us victims to Shannon's evil ways. Sweet revenge. I smile to myself as I get in the shower to clean of all of the food gunk. If only every day were as awesome as this one-minus Greyson almost dying. Now we get to deal with Regina tomorrow and I have some questions to ask my parents. Joy.

I'm so sorry guys. I thought I had updated on Monday and now five days later I realize I did't. This week has been hectic for both of us with both of us worrying about solos and ensembles for ISSMA. Hopefully this won't happen again.
