Brooklyn's P.O.V:

It's a day before the estimated time of the attack and everyone's scrambling to get ready. We're training for hours, making sure everyone has the supplies they need-knives, guns, even swords-and they that know what their job is.

Right now everyone taking a lunch break-socializing or just relaxing. Our group is up in Josie's room sharing funny stories from today, when the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it," Keiran says sighing and walking out of the room. A few minutes later he comes back into the room, Mary following awkwardly behind him.

"I don't mean to interrupt anything but I heard Shannon on the phone talking about something that concerns you," she says.

"Oh great just what we need, another thing to worry about," David mumbles under his breathe. Mary shoots him a confused look before shaking her head.

"Don't mind him," Landon says. "Keep going."

"I heard her say something about the plan going smoothly, you guys not suspecting a thing of her and Keiran, and how soon all the sups in his town will be dead and the rest soon after," She says with a confused look on her face. "What the heck does that mean?" No one answers, just sits there stunned. Why does everyone find out like this? "Well?" she asks getting impatient.

"Ummm," Logan says.

"Josie you take this one."

"What?! Brooke and I always do it, someone else do it for once," Josie says.

"Oh for Pete's sake, I'll do it," Luna says. "Sups is an abbreviation of supernatural. Everyone in this room except for David and Jordi are human, the rest is some sort of paranormal creature."

Mary stares back at us with a blank face. "How is that even possible? They're just legends and myths," She says.

"Every legend and myth was once real," Landon says. Mary looks taken aback when she sees him in the room, and maybe a little hurt, but instantly she regains control and the blank look is back on her face.

"You're telling me that everything that goes bump in the night in books is real? Are you out of your mind!" She yells. "I'm not that stupid!"

"We never said you were," Nyssa says. "We are just telling you the truth."

"You know I thought you guys were my friends but friends don't do this," she says as she turns to leave the room.

Maybe we should show her, I say to Josie.

I don't know, she responds.

She's already upset at us. It can't get much worse.

Fine, she says.

"Wait, let us show you that we are telling the truth," I say.

Mary turns around and put her hand on our hip and gives us a look that says 'go ahead'. I nod to Josie and she closes her eye. Three seconds later there's a red fox standing in the room. Mary's eyes widen as Josie prances around the room, her fluffy tail flicking Asher in the face.

"How-" Josie sits down and looks at me expectantly, obviously reluctant to change back and explain herself.

"Well supernaturals have been around forever, I can't really explain the how," I replied to her.

I was born this way, hey I was born this way hey, Josie's back to prancing around, broadcasting that stupid song in my head.

Would you should up you idiot! This is serious! She humphs and glares at me before calming back down.

"Soo...yeah...questions?" Mary just stood there, her left eye twitching slightly. "I guess we'll come back to that, why don't you sit down so that you can soak this all in and the rest of us will-" I was cut off before I could finish the rest of my sentence.

"They're here," Charlotte says in the doorway.
