The penthouse was about 40 minutes from the safe house in Bankhead. The car was silent except the music that I had been playing and the wind from the speed. I could've been at the penthouse had A-Ashley? No that's not it. Amber? Nah it's not that. Amanda? Fuck that doesn't sound right either... fuck it. Whatever her name was, had she not made me slow down. If I would've drove my normal 170 mph this ride could of taken me about twenty-seven minutes instead she stopped me at 147 mph and this drive has taken damn near an hour. I glance over at her as she continues to sleep. Her hands were folded in her lap and her head rested gently against the window.

She was a beautiful girl, the sun kissed her skin casting an angelic highlight on her face. Her lips were the perfect size and evenly moisturized as they were slightly parted as she continued sleeping. Her hair was black and styled in what Ze'rea would call "Half up, half down."' Despite the events that she endured today, her hair managed to stay perfectly intact. I return my eyes back to the road and continue driving. After about ten minutes I swiftly pull into a parking space outside of a building that looking from street level one would assume touched the sky.

I glance back at her, she looked so peaceful. She's actually cute when she's not rolling her eyes and catching an attitude. I would feel bad waking her up. I weigh my options I could always pick her up and try not to wake her up. But, then again her head is resting against the window...what if her head drops? I could always just tap her and tell here we're here, but I don't wanna wake her up. After everything she's been through today I'm surprised she's even able to close her eyes. I pick the only acceptable solution.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream. She jumps up and her head snaps to me, eyes wide.

"What the fuck?!" she yells. I couldn't suppress my smile as I began to laugh.

"We're here." I say grinning at her trying to keep from laughing.

"You couldn't just tap me and tell me we're here? You almost gave me heart attack."

"Well I didn't, so let's go." She rolls her eyes and undoes her seatbelt. I hop out the car and walk around to the passenger side and lift her out the car. Her injured leg touches the ground and she pouts at the pain. I'm not gonna cap I feel a little bad for shooting her in the leg but I only did it to save her life. One day she'll understand. I pick her up bridal style and walk towards the doors. Once inside we head straight to the elevators. "Do me a favor and press number fifteen."

"Fifteen? You live on the fifteenth floor?" she says looking at me shocked,

"If I say yes will you hurry up and push it." She pressed the button and the doors close. The elevator jumps to life and we start moving higher and higher. I watch as the buttons for the number glow each time we reach a different level. Soon the doors pop open with a loud ding, I walk out the elevator still holding her safely in my arms as we proceed down the hallway. The Hall was long and there was only one door on the entire floor, my door. We reach the door and turn the nob revealing my favorite place.

I couldn't believe my eyes, this place... this was his? It was huge and nicely decorated. The walls weren't walls they were windows. There was a beautiful fireplace that made it feel like home. Everything was decorated orange, black, and white. I take in the beauty of this place for a little while longer before I turn my head to him.
