"What are you doing here?" Mercedes ask.
"I should be asking you that question. Since when have you been in Atlanta?'
"For a few months now, but why are you here with... him? Selling drugs?"
"Why are you here buying drugs?"
She chuckles and crosses her arms in front of her. "I guess we have some catching up to do big sis."
"I guess so."
"Why don't you just give me your number and maybe we pick a day to hang out." I look at her for a few minutes and hesitantly give her my number and start walking away.
"Amerie?" she calls out.
"Yeah?"
"It was nice to see you." She pulls me into a hug then lets go. I give her a smile then head back to the car with Ace.
I get in and stare straight ahead.
"What's up? You look like you seen a ghost."
"I mean, I haven't seen my sister in years... or heard from her and she just shows up out of nowhere."
"How you feelin?"
"Honestly, I don't know." I sigh. "But what I do know is i'm hungry and could use some food."
