So like I was only joking when I mentioned putting Whitney in the story. Granted it would've worked because of the Wherbo ship, but yeah no.

I also decided on whether or not I was going to make a sequel to this book so....

It's been about two week since me and Jay's conversation and honestly nothing has changed. We barley speak or see each other. I even went back to sleeping in my own room. Everything has been so off about us lately and I'm to the point where I don't know what to do.

I've been hanging with my sister a lot more lately. We're in the process of rebuilding our relationship and honestly the whole situation has been therapeutic for me.

Me and Mercedes were sitting on the couch in her apartment. She was talking but I wasn't listening to a word she was saying because I was lost in my own thoughts.

"Amerie!" I hear her yell and it snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm?"

"You alright?"

"I-uh.. yeah I'm fine."

"You sure? Cause you've been acting pretty weird these past few days."

I think to myself for a minute, I wanted to open up to her and tell her about me and Jay's situation but part of me feels like she's going to be bias which isn't gonna help me in this situation.

"I'm just confused."

"About what?"

"Okay I wasn't completely honest with you. Me and Jayden... we sort of have this weird relationship type thing. It's like we both have these feelings for each other but the shit he got going on just makes it so complicated."

"Nothing's ever complicated, if it's complicated it's because that's what you make it. There's nothing complicated if he has feelings for you and you have feelings for him."

"But his lifesty-"

"Doesn't matter. It's not hard to work through it. To me it sounds like his lifestyle is an excuse for y'all not to commit. Both of y'all are using it as an excuse because there's something else that's stopping y'all from being together. What's stopping you?"

"I-I don't know maybe I'm just scared to be with him. I haven't known him that long but I've fallin so deep into him. I've never been so comfortable around a person in my entire life. it's been a few months and It's like I've known him my entire life, he's become my best friend. Even when we have our moments like now, he's still the first person I think about."

"Okay well...I feel like you should just go for it. I've seen the little videos people post of y'all, you two are cute together. Besides I noticed since we were at the mall when you talk about him your face glows. He seems to make you happy and you seem head over heels for him which is unlike you cause you are mean." she laughs and shakes her head.

"Even though, I personally don't think you need to be involved with him just off what I heard about him in Atlanta, it's not about me, as long as he's treating you well and keeps you happy that's all I honestly care about." she smiles.

What she hear about him?

"What did you hear about him?"

Dammit Amerie.

"Nothing you probably don't already know. I seen him one day and I asked my friends who he was and they told me he was the leader of a gang. YHN or some shit, so I looked him up and dude is crazy as hell. He definitely has an impressive track record. He's so swift with what he does he can never be pinned for any of the shit, he's like untouchable it's actually interesting." she shrugs.
