Regrouping outside the restaurant everybody stood around waiting for the next move.

Jay was deep in thought thinking about what would be the smartest move. Shit had just gotten realer, and it was either kill or be killed.

"Aight. We gotta go. Ain't no time to pack we gotta get back to the A." Jay says breaking his silence.

"Hell nah I need to get my son. Des knows where Nyah's mom stays in Baton Rouge I need to make sure my son safe first." King says.

"You comin' to Atlanta with me. Your girl can make sure your seed straight but we need you in Atlanta."

"She can't go by herself," Amerie says. "I'll go with her."

"No, you won't. You comin' with me. Nyah, Mercedes, Kianna, Kairi, and Ace can go to Baton Rouge. Nyah, you got somewhere your mom can go for now?"

"Um..." she thinks. "Shit the house in Texas." She says tapping King. "She can hide out there until things are settled."

"Bet. Y'all gotta get on a flight ASAP. Change y'all airlines and pick the cheapest seats run circles around him."

"I'm booking flights how many going to Louisiana."

"Five." Ace says.

"We ain't got all day, let's go. Lemme know when y'all touch down."

"I gotchu." Ace and Jay do their handshake before the two groups began to separate.

Ze'rea hangs back a little grabbing Ace's hand.

"Promise me you'll be careful." She says and Ace nods before leaning down to give her a quick kiss.  The two separate and head back with their group.

The two groups use different airports to leave out of Florida. Ace and his group leave through Fort Lauderdale whereas, Jay's group leaves through Miami international.

Jay and Amerie has sat next to each other on the flight never saying word. Only gesture Amerie did was holding his hand the whole flight.

Jay had arranged for two cars to be ready for them when they arrived back in Atlanta. Walking through the airport they make their way through and out the doors where two black Audi A4's were. The man hands Jay the keys and he gives one to Ze'rea before turning to Amerie who has been quiet since King said Des knew what was going on.

"You alright?" He asks and all she could offer him was a small nod. Amerie was unreadable, nobody knew what Amerie was thinking except Amerie.

"Head to the safe house near Druid, I'll take King with me, you stay with Amerie."

"You sure?" Ze'rea asks glancing over at a very disconnected Amerie. "She doesn't look..." She pauses thinking of a better word, "Stable."

"She'll be alright. Get to the safe house and I'll meet y'all there. Keep me posted."

"Bet." Ze swirls the keys around her finger before walking to the driver's side of the car. "Come on Amerie, you're with me."

Amerie gets in the car and Ze'rea pulls off into the airport traffic.

They had made it out of the thick of the Airport traffic and something catches Amerie's eye.

Looking through the mirror next to her she squints staring deep into it at the car behind them. The person makes eye contact with Amerie and smirks before reaching out the window.
