"Wassup?" Jay says answering the phone.
"Yeah, where everybody at?" Kairi asks.
"Right here, wassup?"
"Put me on speaker, everybody might wanna hear this."
"Go head."
"So, King, remember back in Detroit when you said Cane, Aka, Des right-hand man was killed back in the day?"
"Please don't tell me this man is alive." King responds.
"Oh no, he's definitely dead." Mercedes says.
"Because Ace here is the one that killed him." Kairi adds.
Jay, Ze'rea, Amerie, and King all share a look between each other trying to figure out what to say next. Jay coughs before stammering out,
"P-put Ace on the phone." Kairi hands Ace the phone and he takes it off of speaker and Jay does the same. "I take it as she doesn't know why you killed Cane?"
"I don't think now the best time. I just need a moment to process some shit. We'll deal with it when we get back."
"Aight. Stay dangerous nigga."
"Always." The boys hang up and Ace hands Kairi her phone back before rubbing his hands down his face. Ace was completely at a loss for words. His mind was racing, little did he know that Amerie and Mercedes' lives intertwined with his own.
Ace knows that the elephant in the room soon has to be addressed and although the truth would bring closure and understanding, it'll also cause some damage. Soon the answer to Amaris' burning question will be answered. "Why did you kill my dad."
The truth held a lot of answers and plenty of secrets.
"Amaris." Ace says getting her attention.
"What?" He nods for her to come over and she did. "What."
"I just need you to do one thing for me, please Amaris, please." Ace pleads.
"Not until you tell me what I wanna know."
"That's the thing Amaris, I need you to come back to Atlanta with us."
" No way. I left that city far behind me."
"Please, if you wanna know the truth, I need you to come to Atlanta. I promise once everything is out on the table I will get you on the first flight back here. I promise. I just need your help this one time."
Ace was never the type of person to beg for anything but, in the particular time, he pushed his pride to the side. He desperately needed his sister. Not only did he want to explain the situation once, but because he felt that she would be useful.
"Ok, fine, I'll go."

Nyah eventually emerges with Spazz by her side each carrying some guns. Nyah could sense the tension in the room and she arches an eyebrow.
"The fuck happened in here?" she ask looking around the room.
"Well..." Kairi starts. "Turns out Bando here is Aces sister."
Nyah blinks and looks between Ace and Amaris.
"The fuck?" Nyah says.
"Oh that's not all, check this out, Remember Des' right hand man, Cane. Welp, that's her daddy."
