Jayden

A nigga didn't even know where to begin. Seeing my lil sister laid out like this was pushing a different kind of button.

If I never got her involved with this shit this wouldn't have happened. I should've just kept her out of all this to begin with.

Ion know if she would be okay but I needed her to be. If I lost Kairi I would lose myself.

I was stressing. I didn't know how to help Kairi or where to find Amerie. I hate not knowin what to do. I was starting to see red.

Jay's thoughts got the best of him. He punches the wall with both fist leaving two holes.

The impact of the of punches make a picture fall from the wall. But he wasn't satisfied

"Jay what hell?!" Ze'rea yells. "Ace don't just stand there, get him!"

"What do you want me to do? You know when he's like this the nigga will snap on anybody. I'm not trynna fight this nigga in here tonight."

Ace wasn't afraid of Jay, but he knew not to fuck with him when he was like this.

Jay walks out the front door slamming it behind him. Ze'rea gives Ace a look and he sucks sucks his teeth following behind Jay.

When he got outside Jay was sitting on the hood of his car with his eyes closed trying to steady his breathing.  Ace sits on the beside his best friend and pulls out a blunt.

The two sit in silence and Ace lights the tip. He takes a long hit before passing it to Jay who takes it and hits it quickly. He lets the herb circulate through his body before exhaling the smoke.

"I'm fuckin up bro." He says passing the blunt back to Ace. "This ain't how this shit suppose to go dawg. I swea... this shit was suppose to be til we got our money up. We weren't suppose to be in this life fa' ever."

Jay shakes his head and takes the blunt between this lips again.

"Now a nigga feel stuck in this shit. My lil sis in there laid out and the one female I started to care about outside of this gang shit has been taken. It's anyways one thing after the next. A nigga fuckin tired."

"Whatchu wanna do then?"

Jay sighs and shakes his head.

"I wish there was a way to just handle this shit peacefully I'm tired of shootin niggas."

"Listen bro, if you wanna handle this shit with guns down I'm right behind you yadig? But if you wanna blow niggas heads off I'm witchu too. It's up to you my nigga."

Jay wasn't sure how he wanted to go about everything. He wanted to kill whoever was responsible for Kairi being unconscious but the way this life was set up he knew it was an eye for an eye. His only concern was if he killed one of them...Who on his team would pay the price?

He wouldn't allow Kairi to pay the price, he would much rather let them take him before they took her. It can't be Ace or Ze'rea, those are his main two. Even though they would give their life for him he wouldn't be where he is without them.

Ace was his right hand, his best friend. Jay met Ace a few months before he went to jail following his arrest for drug charges. Both him and Ace were selling for the same gang that no longer exist.
