After a few days in Detroit, we were finally back in Atlanta.
I was so happy to be back home, although the trip was needed I was ready to leave the second we landed.
We did manage to find some information out but I still couldn't help but be rubbed the wrong way. I had so many questioned I needed to be answered. But it was useless, the person I needed to ask was six-feet under.
The mystery still stood on who Dallas was and where he was at, but Ace assured me that he was going to do some digging around to find out what he could.

It was now December first meaning there were only two days until my birthday.
I was packing for weeks trying to make sure that I would have everything. I did a ton of shopping these past few weeks making sure I had tons of cute things to wear.
We were going to Miami for a total of eight days and I had enough outfits to last me a month.
It's Sunday and me and Jay we're flying out today while everyone else was gonna join us tomorrow.
It was still early in the morning and I had a bit of an attitude waking up but at the same time, I was excited.
Everybody had agreed to come, even Mercedes after it took a lot of convincing her to leave Elijah with Nyah's mom. I understand why she was so skeptical regardless of how cool King has been with us he was still affiliated with Mtm, and the last thing we needed was for Elijah to be harmed in any way. But since Nyah's mom said Mercedes could call and check on him at any time it eased the worries a bit.
Speaking of Nyah, since the Detroit trip I had the opportunity to talk to her and get a feel for her vibe. She was a cool girl, she isn't the type of person to censor herself so that's a plus.
Her vibe came off authentic and genuine and that's what made it easy for me to invite her and King on the trip.
Now speaking of King, since I now knew he truly was my brother, I took the time to really talk to him. I allowed him to open up to me about his childhood, and what it was like not having our mom around.
He didn't give me any reason not to trust him or side-eye him, he's become really helpful and I just hope he stays that way because I look forward to creating some sort of relationship with him, and hopefully Miami can do just that.
"You ready?" Jay asks peaking in the room.
"I think so," I say looking around making sure I had everything. I cut off the light and grab my purse and my carry-on bag and exit the room.

Arriving at the airport, our driver lets us out and helps get our bags out of the car.
Walking through the doors into Atlanta International Airport, everything seemed so surreal... bitch I'm really about to go to Miami for my birthday and cut the fuck up.
We check our bags and head to the security checkpoint and instead of going through like normal people Jay stops and talks to somebody and instead of going through security, they let us walk around.
