With their bodies intertwined, Jay and Amerie laid there in silence. Amerie's head laid on his chest while he played with her hand.

"I need to take a shower." Amerie sighs. "But I'm comfortable."

"Me too." Jay says. "But come on."

He sits up lifting himself and Amerie off the bed. "Go start the water while I grab some soap and shit."

Amerie walks into the bathroom turning on the shower and waiting for it to heat up. When it got to her liking she stepped in letting the hot water run down her body as she waited for Jay to return with some soap and a rag.

She heard when the bathroom door opened and closed but what took her by surprise was Jay sliding in the shower behind her. She turned around so that she was facing him and looked up at him.

"Hi." She smiles.

"Hi." He says back before leaving a kiss on her forehead.

They thoroughly wash themselves off being sure to scrub every possible part of their bodies. Stepping under the water Amerie rinses the soap off her body and lets the heat of the water soothe her skin. Eventually she moves so Jay could rinse off and when the water touches his skin he jumps.

"Man why the fuck you got the water so hot?" He ask bringing his eyebrows together.

"Stop being a baby and rinse off." Amerie says rolling her eyes.

Once all the soap was off their bodies and they felt clean,  Jay turns the water off and they each grab a towel to dry off with.

It was silent in the room as they finished drying off and moisturizing their bodies until Jay decided to speak.

"You know what..." he says which makes Amerie look across the room at him.  She waits for him to continue but he doesn't.

"What?" She ask hoping he'd continue with what ever it was he had to say.

"I was pissed off at you for going out and doing what you did tonight. But if I'm being real witchu, I'm proud of you. You handled yo' shit without me tellin you or me by your side.  And most of all you did that shit for me... you took initiative and you were fearless. But I have one question."

"What is it?" She ask feeling a bit nervous.

"Why did you spare Mercedes?" He ask locking his eyes with Amerie's.

Amerie knew eventually Jay would question her decision when it came to letting her sister walk free, and the number one rule for the mission was nobody was to be left breathing and Amerie went against that.
