Waking up I let out a loud yawn and much needed stretch. When I looked over to the side Jay wasn't next to me and I grab my phone to see what time it was. It was currently 10:14 in the morning and I jumped up remembering that the rest of the gang landed at 9:30 so it was only a matter of time before they arrived.
I get up and do my morning routine and slip on an outfit. As I walked down the steps I hear the front door open and several voices. Once I recognized the voices I quickly walked down the rest of the steps.
"You guys finally made it!" I say wrapping Kairi and Mercedes into a hug.
"I knew Florida was hot, but I didn't think it was this hot," Mercedes says.
"Tell me about it. I'm ready to walk outside naked and let it all just hang out." Ze adds fanning her face.
"What's the plans for today?" Kairi asks.
"Well, first we gon let yall unpack and freshen up, then go grab something to eat, after that, I figure we look around and do some shopping or something. Then later on tonight there's a big yacht party that'll bring in Amerie's birthday."
"Sounds like a plan to me," Kai responds. "So where's my room?"
"You decide. There's two on that side and three on that side. If I were yall," I point at Kai, Mercedes, and Kianna. "I'd stay away from the couples."
"Good point. I'm going on this side." Kairi says dragging her suitcase to three-bedroom side of the penthouse. Kianna and Mercedes follow her as Ze, Ace, King, and Nyah go to the other side leaving me and Jay alone in the foyer.
"Where were you this morning?"
"I had to take care of something."
"Oh." I turn around and head upstairs to change my outfit.
I settle on wearing a blue, green, and pink romper that was laced in the back. I pull out the pair of sandals I planned on wearing and sit them to the side. I don't plan on wearing any makeup out today, but I do plan on putting on a pair of lashes.
I unzip the back of my suitcase and grab a pair of lashes. I grab my glue and tweezers and head into the bathroom. After successfully putting my lashes on I walk back out into the room and flop on the couch pulling out my phone.
After what seemed like forever, everyone was dressed and ready to head out. We split into two cars placing me, Ace, Kianna, Mercedes, and Kairi in one whereas Jay, Ze, Nyah, and King were in the other. How me and Jay ended up in separate cars was beyond me but I didn't bother thinking about it much.
Since Ace was the only male in the car he decided to sit in the passenger seat while the rest of us sat in the back. I sat in the seat behind the driver and Kianna sat behind Ace leaving the far back for Kairi and Mercedes.
