tyler sat on his usual spot on a bench in the school yard. he was thinking, and he was very invested in his thoughts. not that he'd let anyone know that. he'd just pretend he was slowly judging everyone from where he was sat. that was partially true, though. he'd judge all the guys trying to flirt with older girls, he'd judge all the girls for seeming so fake and plastic-y, but most importantly, he'd judge himself.
he'd wonder why he was even sitting there, why he hadn't just left already, but his conclusion would always be somewhat ridiculous or fakely philosophical. that's why he didn't let anyone know them.
not that many people would care, really. no one would listen to him anyway. and why would they? he hadn't exactly shown them the supposedly friendly side of himself. not even the partially friendly side.
no, he hadn't shown them any of the caring, friendly features he had for so long he was starting to wonder if he was actually lacking all of that.
tyler would often catch people staring at him whenever they thought he wasn't looking, and he found it extremely annoying. he wasn't a fucking circus animal walking about entertaining people. the looks he most hated were the ones that held so much pity it'd be enough to share with all of the homeless people in the whole world, and there was one boy in general that kept staring at him constantly. he had purple hair and obnoxiously loud friends. the only good thing of the lot was the fact that at least three out of the four boys were gay. and tyler only knew that because the three were all in a relationship together.
no, tyler hadn't bothered to learn their names, or anyone's, and guess what?
he won't in the future, either.
