"you don't have to tell me anything, but i want to make sure you're okay," josh said as he and tyler were settling into the latter's living room. or well, gerard's, but josh didn't know that. "it's all i want."

"i'm fine, alright?" tyler said softly, a small smile glazing his ridiculously pretty-looking lips. which, by the way, josh was dying to kiss. he was definitely staring.

"are you sure?"

"i'm sure."

josh didn't buy it, but he didn't want to push it any further. he knew how hard it could be to admit you've got problems and you have to get rid of them. he'd work his way there, all he wanted was to help tyler.

"okay," josh said, giving tyler a small smile back. "so, what're we gonna do?"

"what do you want to do?" tyler asked, stretching his arms and yawning a bit.

again, josh was staring. you, that was what was going on in josh's head.

"anything is fine," josh answered, a blush beginning to creep its way onto his face.

"mhm," tyler said, speaking something under his breath. "what's anything?"

"i don't know," josh softly giggled. "it can be something, everything, or nothing."

"poetic," tyler chuckled. "but in all seriousness."

"let's just talk. if that's okay with you..?"

"it's more than okay."

.

somehow, curiously enough, josh found himself on the street at two a.m. without a shirt on, laughing like he had never laughed before. it must've been something tyler had said, but he couldn't remember what anymore.
all he knew was that he felt extremely happy and that tyler was doing cartwheels beside him whilst babbling something about everything and nothing. josh had never felt so content in his life. his head felt like it was circling in the atmosphere, and his feet were barely touching the ground as he skipped on.

suddenly he realized something. "tyler!"

"h-huh?" the boy jumped, scared for his dear life.

"my hands, where are my hands? oh god, tyler! i can't find my hands!"

tyler gave josh a blank stare, clearly trying to decipher if the boy was being serious or not.

"tyler!"

"joshua. your hands are attached to your arms that you're currently shaking around."

"but-,"

"i'm not dealing with this," tyler sighed, but nevertheless grabbed josh by the waist, causing josh's brain to overflow with images way too graphic of someone you've never seen without clothing.

"where're we going, ty?" josh asked, suddenly growing very tired. "m'tired."

"we're going back to your place," tyler explained, and josh nodded, mumbling a thanks at tyler for helping him find his hands. "it's okay."

"carry me?" josh asked, spreading his arms and facing tyler.

"whatever," the boy huffed and carelessly grabbed josh by his thighs.

josh, despite the fogginess in his brain, was ridiculously turned on by the action. he realized it wasn't a good idea, but it was so comfortable, and he had his hands, and everything was good..

"hey, sleepyhead, we're here," josh heard tyler quietly say as he was being placed on something soft.

"mmhm," was all josh could get out as he snuggled what he assumed was a pillow.

"g'night."
